Kindred construction is a medium sized business that performs upscale construction projects that are oftentimes difficult in scope, as are some of their clientele. Kindred has a good track record of pulling together on  projects that had begun to slip in terms of scheduling and material acquisition due to complexity. Wages were competitive to industry and all employees were encouraged to participate in social and corporate events. The owners and senior staff were all approachable and eager to help with  problems. The organization has a high degree of safety awareness and implementation. While working for Kindred I was enlightened to  the importance of detailed and concise communication with clients and contractors. The vast amount of knowledge required to complete multi-million dollar projects made the job difficult in terms of having all the answers, but as stated before, help was readily available throughout the company. The most enjoyable part of the job was the exposure to projects that were definitely not commonplace. Some of the residential builds were truly art.

there is overtime but management is careful to leave work for weekend,  feel understaffed at times.

Company is growing quick, and is a good company to work for, yet they need time to grow with their target market.  Expenses and the price of working for this company can be high at times.  Pay cheque is always on time, and the office staff are great.  Overall a good growing company

Having joined the team there was no culture for safety or really a program to base anything off.

Some people are friendly and helpful and some aren’t. Wish there was more cross training and support from above. Seems like a lot of people working on stuff but I don’t know what
