There were some red flags in the interviews when it was commented that there were next to no employees who have been on 5 years or longer. Can see why as there is an expectation that you will work for free regularly, take on tasks above your title and wage, and have little support or interactions from management. Troubling how little management is involved, and failure to act on well known issues including harassment and discrimination. Little room to grow, and no room if you are a woman.

At Kinetic I enjoyed working with my colleagues, There was plenty of room for advancement and they provided us with external and in house training.
I found their Lean journey very interesting. Unfortunately I had to return to my home country for personal reasons. If I come back I hope they will have an opportunity for me. I miss that "team" feeling in my current job..

A typical day at work in the office is spent communicating with fellow employees and subtrades on accounting related activities as well as  processing payroll.

The culture is the greatest reason to come work for Kinetic. The management truly cares about the staff. Employees treat each other with respect and positive relationships are formed. 

Continuous improvement is a big initiative at Kinetic. Therefore, working smarter and more efficiently is constantly being achieved.

They will treat you like expendable garbage. The project superintendents, and your co-workers are horrible individuals to work with. They have no regard for safety and just want to get the job done. If you value your health then do not work for this company! I left for a better job after putting up with this abuse for far too long. Worst experience of my life working for these guys.

A lot of management, a lot of promises and not a lot of delivery on the promises.
Phone calls last minute saying there’s no work tomorrow. Asked to drive 2 hours each way every day as “filler work”. Out of town work doesn’t come with a wage premium. First aid/labourers are designated to give orders like a foreman.
A lot of cigarette butt’s everywhere.

Kinetic is an amazing company to work for. All superintendents are awesome and I really enjoy the variety of jobs they do , from new builds , school seismic upgrades and small architectural concrete jobs . Pay is fair . The give you all the tools needed to succeed and more responsibility as time goes on . Highly recommend 

A typical day at work involves managing trades,trouble shooting plans,shop drawing reviews.

The co-ordination of manpower and the safety aspect involved.

I believe the hardest part of the job is maintaining schedule in the West coast environment.

The most enjoyable part is creating paper to product and turning it over to the client.

- family-like work culture with many social events 
- always something new to learn on the job
- no day is the same

Great company they actually respect women in the construction industry!  Worked at campbell construction and it was a complete disaster, underpay women compared to men and favor family members who have no education.  Kinetic as a great group of staff and take care of their employees.

Kinetic has supported me through advancement and growth within the company since 2013. The culture is something I've not experienced anywhere else. And managers care/
