Kings Buffet

A typical day at Kings Buffet consists of constantly stalking beverages, ice bins, and cleaning the area, buffet and washrooms. My job was to answer the phone and put the order threw for take out. Also when an alcoholic beverage is ordered it was my job to make it. Lastly, when customers arrive it is my job to seat them to the appropriate table.
What i have learned from Kings Buffet is strong communication skills. Also I have learned to think very quickly and effectively. Not everything goes smoothly and I learned that customer satisfaction and happiness is the most important.
My managers and co-workers were very enjoyable to work with. The managers were strict when needed, as well as easy to get along with.
The hardest part of my job was memorizing the take out menu, seating chart, and list of alcoholic drinks.
The most enjoyable part of my job was answering take-out orders. I enjoyed this the most because it was more people orientated, and I work well under pressure.

Treating all customers and employees with respect, fun and positive environment where I was able to learn about unity and teamwork. The hardest part about the job was that it was a buffet and often enough there were customers who attempted to take the food home; which were against the buffet's policy. The most enjoyable part about the job was that the environment was positive, fun, and everyone was always working together and helping one another out; even management.

Having worked for this group in a variety of locations I typically found the lack of food quality and consistency to be their greatest adversary. Couple this with the absence of corporate control or discipline and customers ended up with a mediocre experience and a market penetration that still has not achieved 30% awareness leaving a great untapped audience from which to draw new customers.

I helped during Mother's Day and although it was busy, I did not feel pressured and was able to complete my job effectively. The full-time and part-time employees were very helpful and were able to answer any of my questions. I learned how to work fast to satisfy every customer. The hardest part was having to run in between tasks to ensure that everything was getting done and no customers had to wait too long. I enjoyed the expressions on people's faces, especially kids, when they are happy with the desserts I served them.

This company allowed me to learn in great details the intricicies of working in a restaurant. I was trained in depth in three positions: bartender, server, and waitress. This allowed me to understand how all three positions work together to ensure each customer leaves happy and satisfied. This also increased my value as an employee as I am extremely flexible and can do whatever is needed.

i learned how to carry most of the plates on a tray. the hardest part of the job was to carry most of the plates on the tray but i did it without dropping any. The people that worked at kings buffet was really nice and helpful. the most enjoyable part of the job was you got to take a drink of water or any kind of drink whenever you would like. The manager was nice and easy to talk to.

Overall this restaurant was great for about a year then the owners sold it and had a hard time staffing with good employees. They made a lot of cut backs and didn't want staff to work more than 30hrs a week.

The one in Kitchener has very rude management. The schedule and employees are  very unorganized. Not to mention not all staff speaks english. Lastly the kitchener location is NOT a friendly environment managers will bully you

not a good place to work, they dont have very good customer service,  they are currently closed, and will not be reopening, the owners were reall nice people, but not to work for
