Working at this company has been a wonderful experience, particularly due to the positive and collaborative atmosphere. One of the most enjoyable aspects of the job is the opportunity to work alongside fellow students, fostering a sense of camaraderie and shared learning. The supportive environment makes it an excellent place to work, and the team spirit is truly inspiring. However, one drawback is the limited availability of working hours, which may not suit everyone's needs. Nonetheless, the company offers a rewarding experience for those seeking a fulfilling part-time role that allows for interaction with a diverse and engaging group of peers.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Accessibility services and accommodation is available for staff with disabilities,  and staff are friendly and welcoming 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The time frame( from whatever time a.m to p.m) for work hours

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Welcoming, and relaxing at times. Inclusivity is key 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I worked from home, so I do not have the answer to this question, only attended meetings in person and my orientation.  So all my answers are based on that.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Autonomy, but at the same time, good leadership help from seniors 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Paying for parking, because part time instructors don’t get the yearly parking tax benefit 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Depends on the students and classroom, my experience was an easy going one 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Get to work on time, head to your classroom, set up your ppt and other teaching materials, wait for session to begin, and just go with the flow

they knowingly serve expired food, wait as long as possible to fix problems, do not listen to suggestions from employees, and they schedual all their meetings on weekends early mornings. manditory.

apart from that the pay isnt bad as long as they rememver to pay you, or remember to pay you in full. if you are 1 minute late they dock you 15 minutes (illegal) you also do not get the legaly required amount of breaks for the amount of work you do, espically if you are in the kitchen.

Kings University is a very well run institution, with a faculty and staff who genuinely care about students. The library is a state of the art facility which is continually changing and improving in order to meet the needs of students. My favorite part of the work is helping students decide which type of material they would be best off using for their assignments/research papers and occasionally helping them find a topic which will pique their interest.

At King's, they use the #aplacetobe and #aplacetobecome. These remain so true for its staff as well in terms of feeling like you belong. Despite this role not having a salary, the large portfolio of experiences you get is truly memorable and life-changing. It is truly a learning environment with all of the chances to build connections with your team, students, faculty, and so many more.

I worked on a part-time job on campus as a teaching assistant for undergraduate economics and math courses. The hardest part of the job was to deal with a large number of students just the day before the exam. 

As a summer research assistant, the job was to conduct research under the guidance of a professor. The job was fast-paced as the goal was to finish the research paper within 2 months. Professors are very supportive and encouraging to students who show real interest.

In the work study positions students can learn various skills to bring into their professional life. For me 8 hours a day in a basement doing research with breaks at my own disposal when I needed/wanted them was the dream job. Once I left the doors at 5pm I was free to do my own social life with no "calls from the office".

The job was quiet and the workplace was friendly.  Working with students is nice because most are kind and courteous.  The library got very busy around exams, but would die down again shortly after.  The pay wasn't great (slightly above minimum wage), but it's a great job for a student who lives close to campus.

I love the people, the culture and the work.  The salary and benefits are excellent and King’s promotes from within when possible.  I have been at King’s for almost 30 year’s and consider my colleagues some of the best employees around.
