Local workers come last. New Brunswick workers will work before the locals. Promotions are given to non locals that are not qualified for said promotions because they are "friends" with management. Rumours are the core of their culture, and could cost you your job if a rumour is about you as a person. Lastly, if you are a local to Grande Prairie ( and surrounding areas ) and there is a project ( or multiple ) where you can be home every night, and another project that is in a remote area where workers must stay in camp, the locals will be the ones sent to camp and not have a home life while the management's good buddies will be the ones working on projects in town. 

There is an excellent program in place for keeping up with safety protocol, maintaining equipment and identifying safety or mechanical issues that may need attention. All areas of the staff work together well as a team to keep the workplace running efficiently. The supervisors are excellent at teaching operators safe work practice and all work is discussed and understood prior to commencement. The work environment is extremely enjoyable.

As a local you will are not a priority. The majority of employees are from the east coast and they live in company housing so you will be put on the back burner. You will almost never see a start to finish project as you will be shuffled around almost daily.  They use family to do the GPS drafting wich is absolutely terrible. You have to use a company vehicle and they are absolute trash. 

Loved being at Klassen. Second place to home. People always felt like family. Management always stand behind you. Great equipment outstanding mechanics. Professional work ethic. Always safe always fun. Great work environment 

have a great winters seasons vtt recration and trails ,really nice fun walking in the woods  peddint trail ,big fun whit kids and familly at a pools  nattation and water polo ,fun to make some nice walking trail whit littles ski doo,

Great company to work for! They give the right minded people a chance at advancing in their career as well as many learning opportunities. I have learned everything I know working for this company.

Great place to work, management is very fair and support staff is top notch. One of the best training programs around for operators and maintenance     

They provide company trucks and housing while at work. You stay in a company owned house and work when there is work, or sit and wait until there is work or go home until you get a call.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Good people, good times. Good bosses.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
I dunno. Not really stressful. Sack up it’s oilfield.

Ensuring equipment was in working order, Ditching, Production loading, fine grade. Enjoyed the fast pace work environment and being part of a team
