My typical day starts at 5am by arriving at the Richmond warehouse to load my truck. From there, I drive about 45 minutes to Fredericksburg to drop off/pick up another load to drive another couple of hours to Winchester. Depending on if I have any deliveries or not, my day could be quick and I can drive back to home warehouse in Richmond, or long, driving anywhere from the west side of the state to DC, or some location way southwest. Some days, management calls to see my whereabouts so to possibly add another delivery to my day. I drive anywhere between 300-450 miles per day. I don't see vey many coworkers, but the ones I do happen to see are very helpful and nice. Management is pretty good to get along with. Only complaint is that some do not have a very good idea of where places are in the state and send me on an overly long delivery. Hardest part of the job is getting up at two in the morning. The most enjoyable part is being able to work on my own and being entrusted to be able to. I have learned how to diversely please the customers, manage many routes in a timely manner, and take on a leadership role when things do not go as planned. I have also been certified on a forklift. Through this company, I have gained a lot of commercial driving experience, driving trucks between 16 and 26 foot.

I learned a great deal from my fellow workers. 
The foremen that has been with the company for years only knows one specific job type, and answers questions sarcastically, if at all.

One of the employees is related to the controller of company, and basically does nothing all day, and gets his journeyman rate. But, can't be fired, as his mother(controller) wouldn't allow it.

Some employees have perfect attendance, and are terrible at their jobs, but, others who take days off during slow times, and are far better quality workers, get laid off. 

Kondro would rather have a person who shows up and screws up daily, than a person that makes no mistakes but misses one day a month.

I really liked working for Kondro, the guys I worked with were all great. I was stationed at Homes To Go on the west end of Lloydminster. Working at HTG gave me tonnes of experience in a short amount of times due to the fact that we did 2-3 houses a week all from start to finish work. I didn't receive the pay I should of for how physically demanding the job was and what it was.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
none .no have nothing . All good

- A typical day for me was from 7:00 am till 5:00 or 5;30. I was always at work at 6:45 and always the last person to pack up my tools.
 - I learned allot about how everything works in a house or a building. I am always asking questions. i learned allot of different ways and techniques from multiple Journeymen& apprentices and even myself.

The tradesman at the company are a great bunch, the management is a little iffy. No OT even when working more hours. Rate is high for residential but the ask and demand can be interesting. Can be sent off to commercial to help on projects but mostly a residential company. Good starting company but would look elsewhere starting 2nd/3rd year.

I started my apprenticeship at Kondro. It was a decent start in the trade. I learned a lot in the time I was there, but the culture there was toxic at some points. Management wasn't terribly helpful.  I did meet some people I am still friends with so it wasn't all bad.

the work was good at the start. i leaned allot about being a electrician and what good workers are like. The boss was always breathing down your neck but kondo had their own problems.
