Management 1/10- Immature, VERY poor organizational skills, communication is practically nonexistent. (Per indeeds guidelines I am not allowed to make allegations of illegal things) 
Work environment 5/10- It was meh, some of the workers were cool, the other guys who had been working there for years were definitely not good people to be around, it reminded me of high school almost (and not the fun stuff about high school), but I guess that’s what unskilled labour is all about. 

If you need a job and this is your only option it’s worth a shot, but if you plan on staying longer than a few months, you’ll want to jump in the trash compactor.

Kore Logistics is a company that at it's heart has a management problem, every other issue I could bring up here leads back to the same issue. The owners of Kore and the people they've put in charge of their warehouses don't understand shipping and receiving in a modern competitive environment, they can't seem to create a stable productive work environment and are always trying to catch up to yesterday's problems. I've been one of this company's top employee's for over a year and can say with confidence this is a company doomed to fail in the 21st century 

I worked with Kore at the Edmonton branch for a year and without a doubt, it's a relaxed work environment. Until they leave the responsibility of managing the company on the drivers and swampers of the company. Didn't get recognized for any good work I did over the year, although many many people told me I was great at what I do.
Long story short, the management of this company doesn't care about their employees. I tried to tell them how they could manage the company better, and they let me go. If you want a job where you feel valued. This is not the place

While working for Kor Logistics was a Canada-wide delivery service. I was responsible for transporting packages, furniture and appliances from Calgary to all of Manitoba, Saskatchewan, British Columbia, Northwest Territories, Idaho, and  North Dakota. I worked three days at a time, normally 6 days a week. The hardest part of my job was the long distances and heavy lifting. however, it was enjoyable to experience many different areas of the country

Not the most organized company but the atmosphere is relaxed and humourous. As long as you follow policies and actually have knowledge about what you are doing you’ll love it and won’t be bothered. However, when it slows down you’ll have your shifts cut even though you have seniority over pretty much everyone.

When I got the job, I had 2 weeks until I could start. I started on June 2, and got “let go” on July 16. I noticed right away they had to many drivers for the amount of docking bays they had. Their were many days where I would be switched around between warehouse and swamping.

When I got let go the operations manager sent me a text with my termination letter attached.

They pay their employees a decent wage which they then use to justify bullying/abusing people into long and draining shifts.

Terrible culture of witch hunting and finger pointing. No appreciation for the guys at the bottom in the warehouse or drivers. They will remind you that you are replaceable if you don't have your nose nicely browned. Clear bold faced racism is also present in some top management at the warehouse.

My co workers were great, my foreman was awesome and my boss was great to work for. The delivery guys all helped eachother, the warehouse guys worked their butts off every day and were a great bunch of people to work with. The warehouse manager could step off his high horse for a minute, but he also was a good guy to work with and for.

Worked here awhile ago. Made a mild criticism (suggestion) which got back to the owner with long hair and my shifts were cut, and I was encouraged to find other employment. Owner has spies everywhere waiting to report. Was never properly trained, micromanaged, sabotaged, set up to fail and thrown under the bus for it....quit after 2 months.

Find out for yourself. If you aren't able to carry up to 300lbs don't work for this place. Your putting your own health & your co workers at risk. If you are able to carry a full size family fridge (280+ lbs) you'll be okay. AGAIN if you can't lift that much this ain't the job for you. Otherwise it's not to bad.
