This company puts on a facade of a welcoming family owned business but you eventually realize there is no advancement or respect for years of service. Everyone has an assistant except for the electricians. Too focused on image and branding with lack of focus on electrical. Unwilling to listen to their field staff.

getting to work and doing the best job possible,i have learned a lot in this trade.and not just electrical,with out good management the company can not run productive, making sure job comes in on time and company makes money on it,step back and see what was done,and look at final product and liking it.

The purchasing and finance team are incredible. They work hard and make work fun.
There are lots of opportunities to let to know the larger team at BBQs, company paid golf, Christmas parties, baseball and more! Kraun tries hard to keep many of the small company vibes 

The job itself wasn't bad but the pay did not increase as I took on more responsibility and workload. The only way to advance was to be friends or family of management, the culture was very exclusive. There was a breakfast meeting daily which women were excluded from entirely.

Management is very clearly made up of family and long time friends, which creates a sense of distrust between staff and management. Opportunities for growth are also limited because of this. The 5 star reviews for Kraun were provided by these same family members.

Negative work environment.  Most of the office staff are not friendly or welcoming.  Work load expectations are massive.  Tools provided are ineffective as the software program they are using is seriously flawed.

I learned the most in my apprenticeship at Kraun. They emphasized that all journeypersons should be well rounded in as many aspects of the trade as they could be, it showed in the overall quality of the journeymen that Kraun produced.

I have worked here for just over a year now, and the people are the best. There is a great team mentality at the company and there is the opportunity for growth, whether it's learning a new skill, or moving up in the company.
