Within my time here i have seen a lot of great qualities to the company. The owner cares about his team and their families, this shows by his commitment to success and the little things. I have never felt like I couldn't take the time needed for my family and I felt supported in times of need. Kuzco is growing fast and making sure to take its team along for the ride. Majority of management is friendly and supportive, and staff are respectful towards each other. As the company is growing, there are many opportunities for growth with a willingness to learn and adapt. Hours are fair and flexible. 

I have had a great experience working here but it is not without its pains of a growing company. There are areas that need improvement like communication and decision making throughout but these are all manageable with the right people in place and time to smooth out the wrinkles. 

I would recommend this company to anyone willing to work hard and be able to go with the flow as it finds groove in this thriving industry. Kuzco has a bright future and deserves the best employees.

This is the first job I felt the need to write a review for. If you are considering working at this place, run away as far as you can. I was hired on an accountant position, but received absolutely no training. I was made to watch people share their screens, while trying to figure out their jobs. Moreover, some of the team members on the accounting team have horrible attitudes and the manager does not know how to put them in place. He straight out told me that there is no training for the job, I have to learn as I go. He gave me tasks, and then told me they are wrong. When I asked for previous reports for comparison, he told me the task had not been done before. The saddest part is that he actually thinks you get training. The place is very disorganized, the manager lacks leadership skills, and there is absoulutely no business culture. You are expected to answer queries after work hours, and on weekends which is unacceptable. Also, all the new people are being given jobs that no one wants. The job title you are hired on is not the one you may end up doing. Horrible place. 

This is a fast growing company, with lots of growing pain. There is no long term plan for the growth. It is totally based on the owner's judgment. The owner can at one point of time decided to hire a bunch of new staff, after a few months, he would decide to downsize, and started to lay off people. There is no job security, and you don't know why you are let go. Staff all have bills to pay, family to feed. Job security is important.

Staff are expected to work like a robot with no appreciation. No work life balance. A very stressful working environment. If you have a choice, keep away from this company.

Kuzco has friendly employees who are very helpful to each other.  There is a good culture and working here you need a 'pitch in' attitude as everyone helps out when needed; very positive experience and environment for employees that do not have a 'not my job attitude'.  We are very busy and it makes the day go quickly.

I have been at Kuzco for just over a year, and I have enjoyed my time being here very much. Everyone is very friendly and the managers are very flexible. It is still a growing company so certain things are still being improved slowly but surely. All the managers are very nice and make all the employees feel very comfortable and have created close bonds with their teams. I have enjoyed being here and can't wait for what the future brings for this company.

Most co-workers are very friendly and easy to work with. However, management is very poor. There are policies and handbooks, but no one is following the guidelines. Salary is rarely reviewed and raised. Your job security is based on owner’s personal preference not your performance. Each department has different standards, each department has different level of work ethic. Cash flow has been a big issue lately. Pay cheque could be delayed. Overall, the work environment is not very healthy.

Stressful working environment with imbalance workload / salary between Asian and Caucasian.
Even the owner himself (Chinese) would discriminate Asians with heavier workload + lower pay
Due to language barrier, he claimed that he could only accuse Chinese with his fluent Mandarin.
As Caucasian, he would treat them nicely.

Would not recommend to work here unless you are Caucasian.

I have been at Kuzco Lighting for many years and have pretty much seen it all. Kuzco has new management in place and things have never been better. Employees are being recognized and encouraged to stand on their own two feet. When help is needed, Management is there for you through anything. 

Team morale is up and overall job satisfaction has never been better!

Owner is very mysterious and work culture is very stressed as everyone feels they my loose their job. No loyalty or accolades for good accomplishments. Owner very difficult to work with and does inexplicable decisions on the fly.

Kuzco is a great company for anyone who is entrepreneurial and wants to work for a fast growing company. The products are great and beautiful. If you are a self starter and an eager learner then there are many opportunities for you. Some growing pains but managers are showing they care to make things better.
