Overall a great organization to work for, but no opportunity to advance unless you are in sales or marketing.  

So if your a go getter and set high goals for yourself in terms of professional advancement, this is not the organization for you.

LV Lomas was a great company to work for until they decided to sell.  Great benefits, 3 weeks to start for vacation and long weekend lunches.  The company sold to IMCD which is when everything went downhill.

This company has transformed itself from a distributor of industrial products to a good leader of food distribution products.  Great environment of people to work with.

Company that provides lots of support and helps develop skills in variety of ares.  Management always there to help out and train.  

Company would cross train, and let you see how entire company operated.  Some long hours, but lots of perks as well.

Although the encironment is great there are no advancement opportunities other than at the head office. Supervisors are not in the right positions for many departments.

Prior to Acquisition by IMCD Group, L.V. Lomas was a great place to work, with an engaging culture, challenging work, fantastic leadership.  Everyone cared about each other.  Very family oriented.

Good experience learned how to operate a full warehouse and on how to operate forklifts and to work the delivery of trucks to different cities across the country.

Face-paced environment with opportunities to learn how important each department is to customer service. Always learning something new.
