A wonderful place to work! I have been very happy since starting my career as a Bridal Consultant with LA Collections.  I was welcomed with such an amazing team and Management here.  Management has been wonderful. They our very professional and friendly. From the very first day of meeting them, they welcomed me with such warmth to there Team.  Not only our they hard workers, they truly care about the company and there staff here and see us as apart of there Family. They notice hard work and show there appreciation, I am truly honoured to represent them and the Company. 
Here, at LA Collections, we work as a Team, and have great respect for each other. From the morning you walk In and start your day there is always big smiles, laughter, and Its such a great feeling just knowing you helped Brides, grads, bridesmaids, mother of the grooms/brides, find that perfect dress. You also meet so many people on a daily basis and get to share that exciting moment with them when they say “YES” to the Dress! This is the job for you, IF, you want a career in bridal, work well with others, Like to work in a fast pace environment, you our professional, have an eye for fashion,  and enjoy helping someone find there perfect dress. 
Again, I am honoured to be a Bridal Consultant with LA Collection and am very excited to start my long term career with them.

I'm  a hard worker and I feel very appreciated for anything I do! This is a place where you can grow and stay with the company long term. If you're a hard worker and willing to learn. You can make career for yourself doing something fun in the fashion industry. I've learnt so much already and every day I learn something new! The owners are awesome to work for and they are extremely respectful and welcoming. They treat you like family and they make sure you feel comfortable.  

They offer comprehensive training so that you can be a professional in your job position.  On my first day they supplied me with a notebook and provided me with tons of information. However they did not overload me with information but they made sure I knew one task before moving on too quickly to the next. They also made sure I have all the right tools to do my job. They have great benefits and bonuses too!

The staff are also just as friendly and willing to help anyway they can.  I really like working here and I've never been appreciated like this before.  This is really great place to work if you 're  a hard worker and you'll always be rewarded for working hard for the company.

I've worked with L.A. Collection for a couple of years now and it has been nothing but a great place to work with awesome owners.

It's unfortunate that some people were hired in the past that were never the right fit for the store, and they've left spiteful messages when they have toxic attitudes and like to gossip.

If everything negative were true, this store wouldn't still be the #1 destination for gowns in Manitoba and would have gone out of business long ago.  

If you enjoy the ability to help people and put a smile on their faces, enjoy in sharing in the excitement of helping brides and grads find their special gown, love fashion, and be compensated for your performance... come work here!

The teamwork environment at LA Collection is very strong and we all work together to help one another. Especially on those extra busy days!  The staff are all very positive and connect well with one another.  It is a great atmosphere to be in everyday.

it is a wonderful feeling to help someone find the perfect dress for one of the most important days of their life! I have even had tears in my eyes with them!  It can be a long process, but very heart warming.

Assisting grads is exciting and challenging - it is a very big decision when there are so many dresses to pick from! It is very rewarding when they find "the dress".  

The work/life balance is very important to me and management has been flexible and accommodating.  They truly care about each employee and want them to excel.

I feel very fortunate to have found the perfect position at LA Collection!

It's unfair to read the negative comments from the employees that didn't work out for whatever reason. 

I have been a part-time employee for over 2 years and I am very happy with not only my coworkers but also the company owner. It's not only in their nature to be good, kindhearted, and friendly, but they also offer excellent wages, bonuses and good health benefits compared to other retailers. 

No company out there wants to lose a good employee after spending so much valuable time going through resumes, interviews, and not to mention the cost for advertising for a job opening.

I have such great memories working at LA Collections I worked there for over two years and the customers were lovely and the staff were like my second family. Very understanding owners who listen to you and appreciate your work! The environment is very professional and creative the dresses are beautiful! I recently asked to come back to LA Collections and I was welcomed back with open arms and I'm internally grateful! I am so happy and proud to be working here again. Wonderful wages, great hours, fantastic staff and owners! If you want to make amazing memories, love what you do, have a good income, gain experience I would 100% recommend working here!

They preach about professionalism, but the management at LA Collection is anything but professional. They don’t allow gossip on the sales floor but that doesn’t apply to management. It’s toxic, they talk about their employees behind their backs, spread rumours, make fun of them, they also fire any employee who stands up for themselves, being why the turnover rate was so high. In my 4 months of working there I saw 6 different girls come and go. I recently learned from an inside employee that she’s seen 8 more girls come and go since I left. They have a pile of complaints at labour board. Disgusting and manipulative environment. Avoid this place.

My experience at LA Collection has been wonderful! I was warmly welcomed by the management/team and feel that everyone is sooo helpful and encouraging. The bridal and formal wear industry can be quite complex, it’s not just about selling dresses, it’s about giving the customer the best experience with all the knowledge you can give to make their overall experience remarkable.  LA Collection has taught me so much about the industry! I love coming to work and helping grads and brides find their dream dress! Looking forward to a long and successful relationship with LA Collection!

I’m proud to be a part of LA Collection because I learned a lot from accounting in a retail business. What I really like the most working at LA is the support of the owner and sharing all his knowledge about their business and in the real world of retail business. I do admire the Owner’s hard work, passion and dedication of their business. Even if I just stayed there for a month, I am thankful i can say that I really do enjoy going to work everyday! And it’s so great to work for a company that truly cares for their employees.
