There are a few different functions in this warehouse. Base pay is $12.25 plus a shift premium for afternoon or night shifts. Pay may be a bit higher based on whether or not you have a machine license. The work is physically intensive and hard work is required. Management is friendly and seem to be often looking for ways to improve people's experience and make them more engaged.. For the most part, people are content with their job with the typical complaints anyone would have. You might not be used to working as hard for this amount of money but you'll get used to it. If anything makes this job worth it, it's the people. The staff, for the most part, is friendly and easy to talk to if you ever need help. The main drawback for this company is that the pay could be better; however, there are much worse places to work. If you work hard, you will be recognized for it. The harder you work, the more secure you'll be in your position whether you are a temp worker or full-time.

I've been with LEGACY SCS for 4+ years now.  It is a competitive, demanding, fast-paced business owing to the industry (3PL). We are highly customer focused and that means we go above and beyond to meet the needs of the customer; both internal and external. We also work very hard to do the right thing by balancing business needs with our people's needs. Sometimes tough decisions need to be made; they are made keeping the culture and LEGACY values in mind. Worked there for a year. The employees got treated like dirty unless you were kissing up to the supervisors. If you have a question or a problem with something the supervisors would just laugh and walk away. The hours were bad, some days you would work a full day others you would be sent home or you're shift would just be cancelled. They don't care about you if you are a temp and if you try to speak to the agency they had at the building it wouldn't matter. This place only cared about one thing and that was theirselves don't believe what they say when they tell you they want to hear how you feel or what they can do to improve. People who have worked there for years say the company has never changed.  You are a slave once you work here.

You would punch in and get yourself ready for your day got to your team leaders and they will let you know what you will be doing for the day sometimes they where move you where they need the help. I've learned alot about what I was doing and loved what I was doing.  The management needs more work if I should say so but that what I think. All different types of people. I love when my shift ended 
 don't like it when people lie on you and cause trouble for you I love the place and people but I've learned not to friend no one just do your job and go home that's what I've learned and will bring that with me when I get a job

Job could pay much better for the work they ask of you. Poor transition between shifts with lots of shift blaming and no real coaching to have shifts work as a team but rather shift a does so and so all the time and shift b doesn't without ever fixing it. Employee appreciation dropped significantly along with year-end Christmas parties. The raise was never more than 3% unless they were forced to so full-time employees wouldn't make the same as agency staff. Staff often asked to take time off during the slow periods and avoid taking time around long weekends and holidays.

Overall good company with good attitude to employees.  Offer benefits, small gym and table tennis, free parking. 
Particularly speaking of brokerage department, have to say that this is a good place for starters and those, who need some experience in 3PL company. Salary is market average. Leaders in brokerage care more about numbers and do not care about people and work ethics. Rules are not fair to everyone, many honest people left due to that. People with "sales attitude" and "results over ethics" are highly welcomed in brokerage now.

Working there was great in the beginning but over time you just get to know it’s best to keep to yourself. Everyone sticks with their kind and most of them only talk to you to go and take your business with others. I had a great teacher there, the supervisor was very sometimes and we butt heads a lot but for the most part it was okay 

After working with the company for 4 years I was subject to being a victim of a violent crime where I was stabbed 6 times and unable to return to work due to the medication and progressive nerve damage I sustained. The HR department was very difficult to deal with and not compassionate to my medical needs. In short, they eventually served me with dismissal papers and were unwilling to find other means of work for me.

I worked there for nine(9) years.  Management was good.  I learnt a lot there and was cross-trained in different departments. The workers are very friendly and very productive.  My supervisors were great.
Overall I enjoyed my time there.

Overall, a good place to work. With any job, or company, there are always challenges with people, systems and processes. No work environment is perfect.

If you want a steady and secure job, and not interested in growth and development, then Legacy is a good place to work.

Head office has a table tennis table and a "gym".
