The work environment is positive, and the team is always willing to help each other, which makes the job less stressful and far more enjoyable.

A typical day at work varies by role, but it's a fast-paced industry and a tight pipeline between marketing and sales--so you need to be ready to react to anything.

For me personally, it's been an opportunity to get outside of the usual "tunnel-vision" and "that's not my job" mentality and think holistically about the customer, what I can offer, and how I can make things happen, which is refreshing coming from a more "corporate" and bureaucratic past-time.

I've been with LG for 3 years, starting as a water heater installer with zero knowledge about HVAC. Thanks to managements guidance and training I've learned everything I know today, and am now a contractor for them installing heat pumps, furnaces and ductless splits.  The company is supportive, always willing to provide training when needed. The hours are long, but that's expected in the HVAC trade, it's not a typical 9-5 desk job. You finish when the job is done. Management is a fun crowd to be around, yet they are serious about their business and have zero tolerance for anyone who does not share the same core values or who wants to negatively impact it.

Everyone is helpful and willing to support.
The culture is relaxed, yet focused on results. There are refreshments and snacks to enjoy whenever we want.
We are growing rapidly and the team is a focus of that growth.

I worked here for about a month and it was one of the worst work experiences I've had. Management felt disorganized, communication was poor, and there was very little support for employees. The expectations were unrealistic, the hours were excessive, and the compensation did not reflect the amount of work required. Overall, I felt my time and effort were not valued. I would strongly recommend researching this company carefully before accepting a position.

Working at LG Home Comfort was an incredibly frustrating and unfair experience. The environment was deeply toxic, characterized by a blatant lack of professional support and a complete absence of structured guidance. Management showed clear favouritism, as high-quality leads were disproportionately funnelled to a select few, making it impossible for others to succeed on a level playing field. 

Don't waste your time here. The company has no idea what they are doing and hires management that does not care about people's livelihood and will fore you without providing any proper training, coaching or feedback. Such a waste of time and the management is a dense as a bag of bricks, no idea how to run a business or manage a team.

LG Home Comfort is a great company to work at & an even better company to their clients. They pay very competitively for the market & I learn something new everyday. The most enjoyable part of the job is being able to travel and see many parts of Ontario/Canada that I wouldn't of been able to see before!
