Being a union member for 40 great years in which I worked 20 years in the construction field and 20 years in the office as secretary treasurer and Union representative receiving a great pension and benefits from the union as a retired member 

With LiUNA I gained a great deal of experience dealing with RGI (rent geared to income). The building was mostly  lower income, but we'll managed and clean. It was a good learning experience in this field.

A good place to gain skills and knowledge of the trade you're trying to improve. The instructors are dedicated to teaching and give lots of opportunities to practice and improve your skills.

I liked the type of activities I did with the Liuna team. The staff was great and the kids were really smart. The time was perfect for my schedule and I would defenitely go back if i can.

If you want to make a ton of money then work as a labourer for 1059. if you don't want to work in an very physically demanding job and with some interesting co-workers, then don't.

Providing first class membership service is the goal of Local 1611 and the people work as a team to provide it. This makes it a good place for people who believe in trade unionism to work.

No better place to start your career, excellent training and and job experience. Some of the biggest jobs with most skilled employees. Wages aren't even close with non union

This was a positive work experience overall. People work hard here and I had a lot of good opportunities to learn.

The reps are awesome, they try their best to find what suits you and gets you a job.

A very busy place with a lot of construction projects on the go. A great place to learn and grow. Liuna has brought together trades from all over to get Toronto built.
