Having dialogue with team members at other facilities, within the foot care program. Time to participate in communication and or read summary reports of meetings.

Strong personalities to navigate. Would like to be more engaged with team building activities and be introduced to medical team members at onset of employment.

Steady comprehensive work load with focus on time management a must!

If you value clarity, stability, and a healthy work environment, look elsewhere. The executive team sets the tone, and unfortunately the tone here is temperamental, unpredictable, and unapproachable. Decisions are made on a whim, vision is murky at best, and goals shift without explanation. It feels more like a cult of personality than a professional organization.

Support is minimal. It’s management versus everyone else, with leadership operating in silos and treating staff as expendable rather than as partners. Physicians often speak down to colleagues and subordinates, creating a tense and demoralizing atmosphere. Collaboration is a buzzword, not a lived value.

There is no genuine sense of belonging. People keep their heads down, not because they’re focused, but because they’re surviving. If you’re looking for purpose, mentorship, and a culture that respects contribution, this isn’t the place. The talent leaving speaks volumes.

The initial work experience at LMC was great. The staff was friendly and they all seemed welcoming. However, later into working, the grunt of the workload was left in new employee's hands while older, experienced employees did "other tasks". This proved to be a problem because working for a high volume clinic while still learning the ropes means plenty of room for mistakes, in which the providers would complain about. The support from experienced staff was lacking at this point and management was never on-site to witness the unfair workload split, and management would always take the patient's word over their employees, even to the point where they would terminate an employee just based on hearsay from a patient. The pay was also unfair, employees were very much underpaid for the amount of work they do on a day-to-day basis. If you value yourself and your self-worth, this is definitely not a company for you to work for.

Management consistently dismisses employee concerns, does not listen to feedback, and often micromanages and intimidates staff. The work environment is extremely toxic. Employees are constantly stressed, overwhelmed, and burnt out, which leads to tension throughout the workplace. Staff often bond over shared frustrations about management and the poor working conditions at LMC.

The workload is physically and mentally exhausting, with long hours standing, unfinished tasks piling up, and new responsibilities constantly being added. Management appears primarily focused on the bottom line at the expense of employee mental health and work-life balance. As a result, staff are frequently short-staffed, underpaid, overworked, and highly stressed on a daily basis.

The communication from management is very unprofessional. Despite having really good employees, they are unable to run the clinic well.

Beware of LMC! The lies will begin during your interview where you will be promised anything and everything. They will over exaggerate your anticipated salary, lie about which location you will be required to work at and feed you nonsense about how you can advance within the company. You will be guilted for every day off you request. The managers lack sensitivity training and anything you confide in your managers will become public knowledge. There is no movement within this company other than the employees who quit and are replaced every few months, weeks and even days. While the employee count dwindles you will find yourself with an ever growing mountain of work. Everything looks good on paper but it is far from reality.

I have never seen poor management like this in my life. People don't know what they are doing and what they have to do. I can't understand why this kind of person was hired in the first place. They themselves need some training before they become qualified enough to hire someone in their organization. Totally unexpected. They have to learn something from highly reputed other CROs. CEO should look into this at his earliest. At least do some work. Do you even know what is going on around you? I would recommend everyone to stay away. It's better to work in a small organization rather than disrespecting ourselves every now and then in front of weird people who themselves are not enough qualified for the position they have hired for. Wake up CEO. 

The most enjoyable part of working in LMC is the people. Amidst our busy day at work, we still find time to check on each other. Even a simple "how's your day going".. Lunch time is loud and fun where everyone talks anything under the sun.... 
On the other hand, the worst part of the job is being yelled at the patients due to our bad telephone system... This has been an issue since I started working at LMC... We appreciate the management's effort to find means of addressing this matter... but... a better and more effective solution is needed to somehow lessen patient's complaints... 

Overall, LMC is a fun place to work...

Loved the fact that the company dress was casual but professional. Staff worked well as team and roles were clearly defined. Patient confidentiality was a high priority for the team. The team has social and lunch and learn events every week which allows for a time to mix and mingle with staff and learn from medical representatives. These med reps often talked about the products they were promoting e.g. blood sugar meters or new medical equipment that were helpful to the diabetes community.

Worked as an MOA. Not paid well at all!! You think it’s great cuz of all the holidays that you get. You get paid twice a month and you live pay check to pay check. Management needs to be changed for sure. You are not a valued employee. Expect way too much of us. Morale of the team is down. Very busy but it is mentally draining. Doctors are VERY disrespectful. Only good thing is you work from home. Monday to Friday and like a 9-5 schedule which is good. But not good enough to keep us. I suggest you look elsewhere. 

LMC Ottawa was a well-organized and well-managed clinic
Pros:
1 hour lunch break
well managed when facing backlogs on faxes or other work, staff were informed that more hours of work were needed so they could volunteer and either get paid or be able to use the hours that they stayed more to leave early some other day

Punctuality was encouraged and valued

Cons:
Lack of communication between the head office and the staff

Staff feedback was not valued much
