Even if you are desperate do not choose to work here the management is an absolute joke and they will work you till and even after you go to the hospital for exhaustion. They do not care if you have another job they will not work to help you out all they care about are themselves and leaving early even if their is still work to be done. Some fun facts 
Scheduled me six days a week without asking 
Made me late for my other job multiple times  even after making an arrangment with them 
The lodge supervisor will bully and be little and gas light you every day and pretend to be buddy buddy with you 
everyone in this department is not like the "tofino lifestyle" you are looking for 
staff accom is a solid 3/10 
lastly they do not follow COVID 19 protocol at all they think theyre doing good and make you sign papers but no one keeps 6ft apart and making one person clean 5 rooms by thremsleves in an 8 hr shift is wack and getting us to strip rooms first BEFORE SANATIZING  man oh man 
Please do not work in this department OH and the manager only seems to hire family so ya you understand that. 

Location is beautiful
Management of guest services is incredible. Other managers in other departments were generally great too, although housekeeping management did not have the best reputation. Management and owners make a huge effort to keep staff happy, and the place has a great atmosphere as a result.
Most employees stay for around 4-5 months over summer, but there are plenty of people all year round.
Downside is if you don't want to live in staff accom the local private housing is very, very expensive, and difficult to obtain. But as long as you don't mind having a roommate the staff accom is ok, especially compared to other hotel staff accommodation in the area

Located right on the beach, if you’re working mornings, you get an amazing sun rise and if you’re working nights you get an amazing sun set. A beautiful resort filled with beautiful happy people. 

During the slow season of Tofino, you may get some weird employees come your way that might seem like a turn off to live there but once the fun season is happening, it’s the best place to live and LBLR is the best place to work!

Staff accommodation is not the best I will be honest but I hope for improvements eventually. Try to get the condos if you can, more private if you’re an introvert! 

Management was always welcoming and helpful, employees are fun and friendly to work with. Little to no drama with everyone and couldn’t ask for a better workplace. 

The worst experience there, I had lived with a Lead in staff accommodations where I had to endure a drug fueled rant outside of my bedroom door after midnight. 
Management sided with the lead on the matter.
This property is one of the lowest paying in the area, and needs much improvements on professionalism and leadership. You can train anybody for a position, but you cannot train an attitude.

Staff, like anywhere, can be clique-ish but common staff generally get along excellently. 
An excellent stepping stone to get into the area and figure out your long-term options.

They have unreasonable expectations for what to accomplish in a day. Bad management and horrible staff retention, because of this you are often short staffed while still expected to accomplish the same amount of work. Staff that do stay are often very hard working, not compensated well, and are expected to do too much. The cleaning itself is not bad, if they had better management who treated staff well it would be an ok job. Keep in mind this is a house keeping review only, I know other people have had a good experience in other departments. 

Enjoyed working on the ocean, great discounts at restaurant for family and friends stay and surf club. Could get a bit
Overwhelming with the work load at times. Some management I felt were rude to staff lower than them it felt example housekeeping. Surf club and housekeeping department was great. Monthly awards and meetings with food supplied. Monthly staff fun

Enjoyed every moment of work . It's a great place to work and live

going to housekeeping meeting in morning get update how busy we are. number one priority get Restraunt linen and chef done first and deliver to be oraganized keep all l washers going and keep oon top what housekeepers need  through out the day keeping the 3rd floor closet full plus side shelves near stairs on 3rd n 2nd n 1st enjoyed working as a team and helping stripe rooms for house keepers

They treated me well. Your experience will vary greatly depending on the department you work in. High turnover, many seasonal workers come and go. The majority of guests are nice, some entitled fools occasionally. Staff accommodation is expanding, the current situation is inadequate for adult humans. Great for workers who love the ocean. 

I would recommend this job to other due to the fact that the staff environment was quite warm welcoming & the location is stunning! 

There are perks with this job as well such as benefits, staff discounts, LIVING ON COX BAY & a job environment that will make it hard to want to leave!
