Lumon has been one of the most fun and collaborative workplaces I've been a part of. One of their mottos is "The best is achieved by learning together" and they take that to heart every day. Management does their best to grow employees. The culture is growth-oriented and quite fun. The most enjoyable part of the job is team encouragement - there's a lot of that. The hardest part is that the product itself is "want" not a "need", so in tougher economic times it's a harder sell. Having said that, the product is easy to get excited about because of its proven benefits - especially in Finland, where Lumon originates.

I have been working for Lumon for 2.5 years now and I have experienced this company as an installer, the manager of our service department and now as a design consultant. Lumon is a character based company and it shows in the genuine people that we have in our office and on our sites. I wake up and do not dread coming to work, I look forward to it. This is a place where my work is appreciated, my colleagues are my friends, hard work gets rewarded, and management does not see me as a number on a payroll, but as a comrade. The hardest part of my job is opening traditional mindsets, and getting them to be open to new ideas! The most enjoyable part of my current role is dealing with people at a professional level, and sharing and providing a quality product. Life is relationships, and I enjoy connecting with new people.

I enjoy coming to work because I am surrounded by goal driven staff and those who respect me in my role. Everyone wants the next person to succeed. It's been 5 years and I wouldn't change it for a minute. All jobs have ups and downs, but we're only getting better and better! 

If you enjoy autonomy and you're driven, this place is for you. 

I enjoyed my time with my coworkers. They were very good guys. This management not so good though. They change plan many times and no communication. Very much driving too. 

Management works against you. There is no loyalty in the company. Company has a high turn over rate. If you ever get injured, they will terminate you at their earliest convenience.
