What is the best part of working at the company?
The pay was very good. The culture was great at the beginning but turned into a boys club that if you weren’t a part of you were 2nd class. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
No time off, night shifts never knowing where and when you would be working

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Very Cliquey,  sold as a family company but that was untrue. The owner once said Christmas come every year we need to make as much money in the winter as possible so no time off. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
The job is not hard labour. There is a lot of time alone. Usually there is help if needed.

This is a completely unprofessional company, they over hire, then make you sit without any payment, have no chance of planning anything because as I quote " might not be any work when you come back" as their tactic is to starve people out of work for taking a day off even though when there is most likely going to be no work. They are unorthodox with work load and completely disorganized, you will never make enough money to live unless you are one of the veterans. I wouldn't recommend wasting the gas money to drive to rimbey for an interview as it could be a year before you get the money back. 

if you enjoy sitting on your butt all day than this is the job for you.
nice shop but no where to plug  in your vehicle and high chance itl get stolen or broken into, youl get a 30 min heads up that you are going out of town for 2 weeks, youl work two weeks and not get a call for another two weeks, all the operators are miserable, most think theyre super stars that can turn on a big BBQ, constantly complain about never seeing theyre family but do nothing about it.
operators are drama queens and two faced, act like your best friend than stab you in the back.

Break your back and work your buttoff in -40 rigging in and out all the time.. work 16hr day or 24,36 hrs....and get no over time unless they feel you can have it..holiday pay is not accurate...havent seen 4% ever its always been 3.5 or 3.33 or 3...never right..dont not recommend..if you want to be on call for 9 months and have to be ready to go at a minutes notice even on your days off(that are also not scheduled)

First of all they like to hire staff up to 2 months before there is any steady work whatsoever.  They play your buddy , make all kinds of claims and promises.  Then they start you out with unpaid training and long unpaid staff meetings.  Their safety manager talks to you like a 3 year old and responsible

Zero communication or planning done until they find a job, then you are expected to drop everything to fulfill their promise they made before even having a driver available. Absolutely terrible dispatcher.

typical day of work was fun but yet everyone knew when to be serious and get work done. I learned more about outlook and excel working with this company.

Great experience working in Central Alberta.  A very positive company with great leadership and talented key management team.  You went to work and cared about the company!

Willfully violates hours of work standard for OT. Pay straight time for all hours over 8 hrs on day, 44 hrs for week.
