Lynch Bus Lines is  a family operated business. I think it's fantastic that the Patriarch of the business still helps out washing a bus or cutting the lawn after growing the company over 35 years. 
You can truly judge any company by how they react in a crisis. As a school bus company, Lynch was one of the first industries hit by COVID Closures. From the moment things changed (March 13) they were able to put into place information and aid for drivers right away. Helping drivers set up their claims etc. Taking salary cuts to make sure the skeleton crew and shop still had jobs while keeping the company going until restrictions were lifted.
The culture is diverse with drivers and office/shop personnel from all over the world.  Very respectful of people's faith as well as their family commitments. They also make sure that people are recognized for their continuing commitment at the Christmas Banquet with Milestone awards, prizes and more. There are also fun activities on a regular basis including the beginning of the year BBQ and the End of the Year BBQ, staff birthdays, group bonding events and more! Over all, one the best places with the best people I've worked with in a long time!

What is the best part of working at the company?
I am glad I no longer work there.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
I thought the owners were good people until an employees husband of 40 yrs died recently. She has worked for Lynch for 7 years. They did not send a card or express their condolences in any way. Now that is COLD that they view their employees with such disregard.

Employers don’t care about employees

What is the best part of working at the company?
family run company and there for I am hapy towork hear as longer I can .

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
I could not find any stress in hear.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
very normal after all i do not have any complain I like the way it is

They will work you to death and make you feel bad for not coming in on your days off, OT is paid as straight time but for someone reason the management acts as if they are doing you a favor by working for them and don't want you to get ahead in life but rather keep you as an underpaid employee unless your family to help get THEM ahead. Half the management is so bias. You will be go into depression after  working for them

Lynch Bus Lines is a great place to work. It is a family run business with all family members involved in day to day operations of school buses. 

The hardest part of the job as a mechanic is dealing with the heavier parts associated with the buses suspension.

The most enjoyable part of my job is diagnosing a problem on the first attempt.

The reason for not working at Lynch is due to back injury.

I work at Lynch for almost 1 year I really enjoy my work and The staff are very friendly and especially understanding and they help you out of a bad situation I am satisfied with my salary I don't need to make more because it will go to taxes anyway It is a family owned and they are very kind people.If you do your job correctly .they leave you alone That's what I like

Have enjoyed many days interacting with staff and fellow employees.  For those interested in driving school bus for Lynch Bus Lines their commitment to their employees and service to clients is second to none.

This is a horrible place to work for:
1) meat driver’s earn more than driver’s driving your children;
2) management is so arrogant, rude, aggressive, that is not normal behaviour;
3) Dispatchers mandate is get that bus out at whatever cost and whoever’s expense;
4) the disrespect and ignorance of BC Labour Law is appalling.

Having an experience to be a school business driver is a new exp for me and happy taking care and safe driving with the special needs student I am happy to be a part of lynch school bus driver 

I enjoy driving the bus, interacting with children and people. I learned a lot from these friends. Communicating with the community & helping them get where they want to be & safe. They're happy I'm happy.
