La Source

My time at the Source was memorable in many ways. My typical days at work would be filled with hundreds of emails, phone calls, answering to the directors needs as well as HR, Payroll, and hires. My days were packed and that's how I loved it! My manage always pushed me to be better by giving me new and harder projects. Two months into my new job, I was asked to organize a 3 day long regional meeting for 150 people. This included; hotel stay, food ( 3 meals, snacks etc), conference rooms, transportation. I did everything by myself and it was a success. This event showed my skills at organizing events and being in charge so throughout the year, I continued to participate in events as coordinator.
The hardest part of my job was those quiet days where I did not have much to do.
What i loved the most was the travelling for the meetings. I got to experience first hand what the company was all about and I even got to pick the brain of the president, Charles Brown. 

During my time at La Source, I learned quite a few things about people. Every customer's needs are very different. Some wanted a great deal of customer service. Others, not so much. Most wanted to just wander the store and be left alone, never really understanding what they wanted or were looking for.

Every customer needed to be approached differently. You needed to give them a few minutes to figure out what they wanted to purchase, and then approach them accordingly. Some required the aggressive salesman tactic, whereas others required the friendly, helpful salesman tactic.

It was an interesting experience.

during my time at the source i faced a lot of bullying from my associate none wanted to train me we dint have any manager at the workplace management was bad/ workplace culture was bad  everybody was down fellow associate was shoplifting vandalism 

the hardest part of the job was that my schedule/pay was like waves and could change within 24 hours without notice and we couldn't nothing about it 

the most enjoyable part of the job was seeing the satisfied faces of the costumers when i provided good servives

La Source is a well of opportunity if you are talented in sales and is a very easy and comfortable place to work at. If you reach or surpass your quota, they will basically let you goof off and be as lazy as you want. Be warned though. There is a lot of pressure to attain these quotas so if you can't keep up you will be constantly harassed by the higher ups. Even during the slower months the pressure is on.

Pay was average, management was good, manager cared a lot about his employees, customers were pleasant, very busy during upcoming holidays. 
Seasonal work is always available, coworkers were also pleasant and fun. 

I learned a lot by working a The Source even without the IT Professional Diplomat. I was also able to develop my management skills and leadership while I was working as Assistant-Manager

Working at La Source has provided me with a great deal of technological skills while constantly keeping me up to date with their online trainings (Sourcified). Great environment and better colleagues.

Everyone is really kind and supportive of your development and growth within the company. No cons here except for pay, although that might be because I was a contract worker.

bunch of garbage people working there. Bunch of stealers which put their hands in other peoples pockets just to make a petty penny. And all the management was the worst I've ever worked for

Nice place for students to work and learn about new technologies and how to sell them. They usually give a lot of hours and are very flexible! Overall good experience
