Lakehouse Restaurant

It is your typical restaurant job, but very formal because it is quite the expensive restaurant. I learned how to make everyone happy and pay attention to everyones specific needs. The management was great, and the culture was stressful on weekends due to over bookings (especially in the summer). The best part of the job was the staff, working weekends means that these people become your bestfriend's since you will not have much time for anyone on a normal work schedule outside of your job.

Due to the high volume of customers I learned how to work independently in a fast paced environment while maintaining positive customer service. Hardest part of the job is choosing where to use your strengths to help the team out as a whole. Most enjoyable part of the job is working with great people who complete the restaurant team.

Working at lakehouse was very stressful, yet rewarding. everybody had to work very fast and efficiently as the clientele base was very large. I believe everyone who has worked at lakehouse has learned how to manage their efforts to accomplish to most and cover the most area.

Management changed and so did attitudes
Staff was great if I had the opportunity to go back there and work I would but I don't think that focusing on staff personalities is the main reason managers will discipline. I think that if there's something seriously wrong and customer complaints then there's reasons and grounds for written and oral warnings

The restaurant was an amazing place to work at the coworkers were friendly and kind and the management is full of strong women I look up to. I loved working here.

Busy place where you will learn how to work on a high volume kitchen while  making food from scratch. Everyone is a chef or apprentice in the kitchen so there's a good food atmosphere.

Lakehouse is a job like no other with very quick flipping tables and a very face paced environment

Fun place to work at. Can get super bust from time to time. Sometimes days are chill and other times they are crazy busy. Community feel when it comes to sick days and stuff - look out for eachother

management is very kind and cares about their employees but co-workers are a little difficult to talk too and or get along with, very fast paced and can get very stressful. 

Extremely long hours. Fun working with fellow staff but oftentimes can be stressful when others don’t pull their weight. The typical complaints and talking behind others’ backs can be gruesome
