I like working for Lakeland Inn for the type of people I worked with. A typical day at work for housekeeping when it was busy was at least 20 rooms a day so we had good hours pay wasn't bad but not overall great for the work we were doing. Good management very friendly and took people seriously and listened to the concerns of other employees. The most enjoyable part of my job was being able to make something smell better than it did before. Hardest part of the job was trying to keep up with other housekeepers. I learned that people are even messier than me. and a typical day for housekeeping was go in clean the bathroom or bedroom only had a 15 minute time limit for both (no matter how messy it was) and change bedding, garbages 20 times at least in a day. 
I waitressed for the coffee shop as well, Hardest part of the job was dealing with grumpy customers and tips were definitely the most enjoyable part of the job I learned how to balance two plates on my arm and multitask from this position, co workers were mostly depressed and grumpy but were able to crack a joke once in a while.

6 working days, only 1 day off. Worked at evening shift daily. Though it's hard but my colleague was very hardworking and team player. Management was very productive and supportive. Though sometimes we had hard-times if lot of reservations, only the two of us working in restaurant but at the end of the shift, it was a big relief as we did the operation smoothly without any issues. Every weekend despite our hard work, we received our tips. That's the happiest days in our 6 working days per week.

I loved working there because of the customers and the tips, but everything else was horrible. The employees have their own little "cliques" and are extremely unprofessional. Management never deals with complaints and favors certain employees. You will be told you are getting a certain amount of hours and suddenly they are cut in half. Overall it's not a great place to work, but it's a job.

Great place to work.  Amazing management, clean and amazing food handling practices.
Training was great, someone always there to help, be it a amanager helping or the porter, or security.  Safe place to work.

Work's kinda relaxing at the same time it can be stressful depends on the customers behaviors and busyness at work. I've learned a lot about what i experienced on my job, for instance , My English communication skills improved a lot since i deal with customers all the time. I learned to handle pressure.

dreadful management, liars and back-stabbers, the right hand has no idea what the left hand is doing, nepotism on a huge scale, disloyal, over-priced, arrogant, high staff turn-over.

I liked working here and it was fun place to if you like to deal with front of the house.  Be prepared to multi-task and problem solve. Hotel has several dining facilities and nearby motel.

Learning something new each day. Great co workers and customers. Not a safety orientated or clean place to be employed. Very little opportunity for raises or advancements.

Although no reflection on my initial training it was a work environment conducive to constant learning and development both personally and professionally

I enjoyed the job. Was good, hard work and I loved the hours and pay. The people were fun to work with. Management was great. I liked the scheduling, everyone got a weekend off here and there.
