Reviews about on site workers may be good, but I had the experience working in the office.
I received little to no training and was expected to make no mistakes, when mistakes were made staff would embarrass and harass you. when asking for help you received little if any.
the quotes I would have to type out were absolutely illegible and i would have to finished jobs very quickly. the accountant was mean spirited and complained about everyone and everything. the owner was verbally aggressive and had a bad reputation.
this is absolutely the worst job I have ever had and I only stayed for 2 months.

This job entailed early mornings and late nights at times. If you have never been someone who has used many tools or machines, the willingness and openness of The management, and owner is a welcome plus for this. The majority of people I work with are amazing and eager to show you and help you if your unsure of certain things. However this is a show you once and pick it up or do something else type of job also. So if your physically fit and eager for a lot of hours, and you can pick up things quickly this is a great place to work.

Prep, maintain, and close a safe and tidy jobsite. I learned how to operate some machinery such as dozers and back hoes as well as forklifts. The boss was extremely organized and maintain fair functional crews. Co workers were extremely friendly and co operative. Hardest part of the job was hand excavation. the most enjoyable part of the job was haveing a company vehicle.

- Work days varied in tasks because Lakeside specialized in many trades.
- My coworkers were rough around the edges but they taught me a lot of valuable knowledge about various trades
- The hardest part of this job was the time commitment that was required on the water main break crew
- The most enjoyable part of the job was the relaxed environment

Great company to work for. Enjoy working with other employees. Good pay. Great work enviroment. Good hours and great experience. Hardest part of the job is working in certain weather conditions.

Lakeside is a good company to work for, you start early and finish roughly around 5. The crew leader i was with at my time was not the best.. but all the other guys were top quality!

Workplace culture-very casual, all employees are friendly.
The are trusted and preferred contractors of a well-known perfectionist company like Ford Canada.

Easy going, a great place for young operator to grow their skills.
I was working here for 2 years, learned a lot, the guys a patient, hard working, and some very skilled.

Good company to work with, competitive wages, friendly people to work with. I enjoyed doing trim work and all aspects of the job. Building and renovations.
