- Work was challenging at first but with the guidance from the co-workers and support from the management, tasks became easier and fast-paced.

- typical night audit work is silent and most of time you are looking into their system.

- Communicating with some guests who were staying up late, sometimes, some guests are actually arriving for check-ins.

- hardest part was to stay up late, but I got managed to pass that.

- most memorable part of the job was to respond to the guests' need, urgent or not.

Due to the location in a small town the jobs available through this business are often so causal that the employees are left dissatisfied but the job can offer good hours if employees are willing to deal with the confusion and pressure.

The envirmonment at lakeview Gimli was welcoming, then it turned competetive.  A lot of the staff try to get above you to prove themselves for a better wage meanwhile the wage depends on your time with the company.

I am proud to be the part of this hotel. because of all the staff here are friendly and we always work as a team. We ate lunch everyday together as well as with our manager.We treat each other in this company as a family.

Management was the most stressful part

set up the breakfast bar for the guest complimentary breakfast. cleaned the main lobby and the main floor. made sure the coffee station was stocked at all times. made the grocery orders weekly and excepted delivery of orders.

this place is toxic. everyone fighting for power, trying to see whos in charge. mike smith is the worst one, assaulting staff, unhealthy place to work. there is no structure, it is utter chaos and is a not anywhere id ever go back or even send someone.

Loved working here.  If you’re a hard worker, you’ll do great. Customers are all pretty nice & the food is good. This Lakeview is unionized so that comes with its pros and cons but overall it’s a good place to work. 

I enjoyed working front desk at Lakeview, most of the staff were fun to work with. But when it was time to hand in my two weeks, the management was rude and fired me on the spot and made up a rediculous false reason.

was ok stupid salary  not many hours the management sucked unless you were there daughters of frieds  there was way to much drama ad people cut corners all the time  also would steal and go through peoples belonging
