Lammles

Working at Lammle's was a very enjoyable experience I learned a lot over the years working at the stampede. I met so many interesting people from all over the world. I gained experience in sales and customer service which strengthened my people skills. I learned the skills I needed to keep up with a fast pace work environment like organization and prioritization. The hardest part of the job was working 8 hour shifts back to back for 10 days in a row but it was worth is with all the experience I gained.

My manager would make us crawl on our hands and knees around the store after closing, and make us dig for pins buried in the carpet. He wouldn't let breaks fully carry out, and was rude to us. 
We were all very good at our jobs, and enjoyed the customers, especially during stampede. 
I'm glad he is gone. 
Our typical day would be setting up the store, folding shirts and jeans. We would assist people in finding boots and accessories.

Don't work here if you want to be treated fairly. The managers of all locations are horrible.

You will never get raise and the managers consistently yell at there staff while there are customers in the store. 

HR does nothing with staff complaints and the manager crosses lines. 

work somewhere else other then this company. 

Honestly, the warehouse of this place is the worst place I’ve ever worked. The bosses have no respect for people, treat employees like they’re disposable, and create a super toxic environment. Communication is terrible, favoritism everywhere, and they don’t care about your well-being at all. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. Stay far away.

The store manager is very controlling and tries to intimidate employees. The hardest part of the job was trying to figure out how to keep the manager happy and from yelling at the staff. The most enjoyable part of the job was when customers came back to update you on how the product you sold them helped them with their livestock.

Lammles expects so much from you for only a minimum wage job. I lost sleep over sales because the manager made it so stressful and I feel as if I would have gotten in trouble if I did not up my sales. Way to stressful and so much gossip coming from management 

The most enjoyable part of this job was the customers themselves. The commission based bonus was also very appealing. The management is a joke and their systems are the same as the ones used when lammles originally opened, extremely dated.

Hours were brutal and i worked 10 days in a row. Very very strict and my back hurt by the end of the day. Couldn't sit down and the ground was very hard. The weather also was unbearable and there was no leeway on dress code.

If you like helping people look their best and have fun showing them awesome clothing this is the place to work.
Shift include weekends and evenings.
Management were friendly and helpful.


Although it was a fine job when I needed any job, looking back, it would not be my first choice. It was nice to get retail experience but the days were all very long.
