As an intern, I acquired valuable work experience, learned from inspiring leaders, and made long-lasting friendships. I was given the opportunity to explore the Marketing and Human Resources fields, both of which I am currently studying in school. The company culture is unmatched. Lamour embraces a learning culture where the development of skills and abilities never stops, and where always improving oneself is a company-wide objective. The teamwork and collaboration between departments is an asset to the company, allowing every employee to feel included and valuable to the team. I am grateful to all my mentors who have taught me valuable lessons, as well as those who I did not get the chance to know personally, but who have stopped in the hallways to wish me a good morning. I could not have asked for a better company to complete my summer internship at. I am looking forward to many more opportunities at Lamour!  



I have worked in the industry for over 30 years and have worked at some crazy, toxic companies so I was beyond pleasantly surprised when I started at Lamour almost 4 years ago to discover what a lovely, friendly work environment this company offered. It starts at the top from the ownership who is a wonderful, respectful family and trickles down to the employees resulting in an overall feel of family and comradery. Ownership and the amazing HR department provide so many perks and events to make all employees feel their appreciation throughout the year. There is always opportunity to advance as management both recognizes and rewards talent and go getters. I consider myself very lucky to work here and highly recommend Lamour to anyone in the industry.

In 67 years of existence, Lamour managed to curate the best ingredients to offer a great experience. In a nutshell, Lamour has a strong axiology having at the core the well-being of every single employee.

Lamour is a fantastic place to work. Not only is the work itself fast-paced and challenging, but the culture is warm and inviting. For individuals who thrive in dynamic environments, you will definitely never be bored! The work is very collaborative. It's a great place to learn from industry experts. Lamour doesn't believe in micro-managing - they trust their employees and empower their decisions. 

Additionally, the executive team always tries it's very best to make employees feel happy coming into work every day. They understand the importance of work-life-balance, which shines through their generous amenities (on-site massage therapist, gym, laundry service, car wash...).

Lamour has a very bad internal culture which makes retention impossible. Everyone seems to be out for themselves, and there are no genuine friendships among employees. There's lots of infighting and paranoia as well as gossip and rumors. Racism at work is very common too. No one is truly respected, valued, being appropriated or recognized by the management. Doesn't matter how hard you work, your efforts are going down the drains. Don’t let any higher manager see that you are a free thinker with a mind of your own because they will consider you a threat and surely get rid of you. Very poor management with some clueless "directors", no training nor support, high negative pressure.

Lamour goes above and beyond to provide a positive and family oriented environment. Its attention to employee happiness is translated through fitness classes, company events, and beautiful office spaces, allowing people to come together to build team bonds. Deadlines and projects can be ambitious, but the passion people carry make large projects into proud accomplishments and incredible experience. Lamour is a wonderful place where you are challenged to grow into the best professional version of yourself and I have had the honour to work with some of the most talented people in the city!

A professional and wonderful environment to work in. Work-life balance created with access to a gym, fitness classes, rooftop terrace, and friendly get-togethers organized for the employees from time to time. Also a newly renovated, open-environment work space, open communication and desire to be ambitious and strive for the best. The passion and talent amongst the employees is unmistakable. Plenty of opportunity to grow with a company that has been growing for years.

Progressive, yet professional Lamour is an employer that cares for its staff's well-being and comfort. All of the extras - from a rooftop terrace, to a beautiful gym, bright, renovated offices, benefit packages and a relaxed dress code demonstrate this.  They are one of the few employers that have figured out that happy employees are loyal employees. I truly enjoy the family feel, in this large and growing company. It feels great to be part of something successful!
