- Sub-par employee benefits where you only get a tiny percentage of your base salary as a health spending account, which is pretty limited in terms of what you can use it for, as well as the overall amount. The benefits can also include your spouse and dependents, BUT does not add any extra value to the HSA. They only get access to the same amount offered.
 
 - LMN keeps insisting that their location is in a great place within downtown Markham, that there are "great eats" and "places to go", yet only gives you half an hour of lunch with meetings booked right before and right after. 
 
 - Zero employee culture. They claim to have a culture committee that send over a couple emails every couple months with a picture celebrating an occasion. Awesome, nothing more than that. 
 
 - Executive leadership is completely non-existent past the director level. Directors at the company are glorified managers (who aren't too bad), but have no power/say or influence within the company. CEO and leadership are never in the office and make judgement calls on how the company should be run from afar where employees just have to deal with it.
 
 - As soon as restrictions were lifted in Ontario, every employee was forced back into the office full time with two weeks notice. Although a lot of employees were hired with the understanding that they were hybrid when the office reopens, leadership simply responds with a "too bad" mentality. Essentially if you were unwilling to return to the office full time, your job would be in jeopardy.
 
 - They lost a lot of amazing people recently due to the in-office mandate, who were essentially the foundation and core of the company. Long tenured employees who actually know what they're doing are few and far between. I wouldn't be surprised if more are on their way out. 

The salary is low, the benefits are pretty bad (no dental, health reimbursement account that you get dispensed quarterly and it barely covers prescriptions, no dental), minimal vacation they can get away with, two paid sick days. The "bonus" was an absolute joke, if they're talking it up as a recruitment piece then keep in mind whatever % they give you as possible is not realistic. 

The work was pretty easy and if it weren't for the company itself it wouldn't be a bad job. You only had to work after hours a few times, so you have decent work/life balance unless you need time off for a doctor's appointment or something.

One member of the "leadership" team in particular was incredibly rude and insulting. He alone is enough reason to avoid working there.

The rest of "leadership" was barely there, either working on their own pet prestige projects or planning more travel since I'm pretty sure it's just a motivational speaker product that comes with a side of landscape software.

This may have been the worst  job I ever had, and I've had some pretty rough ones. 

Working at LMN has been a very good career move for me. Most of my fellow employees are great people who make coming to work enjoyable. Layoffs happened at the beginning of '22. That was rough but a problem across the IT industry.  The bigger problem is that layoffs weren't handled well (IMO). Those folks may be the source of negative comments here.  There are some people who drag their a** (same as any place I've worked) but most contribute ideas and energy.  Upper management has always been fair, approachable, and honest. Overall it's a place worth checking out if you're looking for opportunities with a company that's growing and forward-looking.  PEI location is new for LMN and it's an amazing place to live! No complaints from me other than wishing they offered "dental".  

Was hired on false impressions that the company was in great financial shape and that there were lots of potential for personal growth and advancement.  

They hired more than 50 staff within a year while not accounting for how much work they had on hand.  Myself along with many others were laid off right before our 3 months ended.  The person doing their projections should be fired.  

They strive on turning over staff to make cold calls in order to keep their sales in line.  They make you record yourself agreeing thar they can let you go at anytime. 

Very unstable place to work.  The software they sell is very complicated and contradicts with the fast pace lifestyle of their target customers.  

Seems like a sinking ship to me. 


Reading the online reviews - I can confirm that the LMN that all of these former team members helped to build, is a fantastic place to work. 
For sure during any transition where a friend or team mate is let go, it can be tough. But the bitterness from some is a little over hyped in this case.
Once we pivoted, we moved to a 4 day hybrid work week, where everyone in the company receives a long weekend - every weekend!, and most of us received raises on top of that. Thank you to the leadership team and our CEO for boldly rewarding and recognizing the contributions of our team. 

I like my team, and my team mates, I only wish we were all in one central location, so that we could do more stuff with the other offices.

This company has exceeded my expectations since coming onboard. I previously worked for one of the largest companies in the world for the better part of two decades. Work - life balance and appreciation didn't exist in my previous role. 

However here at LMN - We meet weekly to update the entire company, shout out WINS and explain the roadmap forward. Work - life balance is a priority and across several locations culture is different but it thrives. 

The talent of people I work with is amazing. Our customer focus in unmatched in the industry. I'm happy and proud to go to work everyday. 

Great place to work and because of the size of the company there's good possibilities for advancement. There can be travel involved, however, it is told to you up front this is the case so no surprises there... It is a start up so things change fast but it keeps the job interesting.

Management has definitely gotten better with some recent changes in the last few months. You're given a lot of freedom to perform and make results and compensated well for the work. 

Great culture and team. If you do the work and don't mind the occasional travel to the US it's a great, rewarding place to work.

The best thing about the company is the 4 day work week and they’ll lean heavily on that for hiring new staff.

Senior management is terrible! Many are there only because they have seniority…. If you call under 1 year experience seniority. We lost so much staff last year that the senior manager roles were filled by people who did not deserve it. Major favouritism. 

Culture is non-existent and the benefits are a small health spending account. Other than pop provided in the office- there are no perks. Meanwhile our executive team goes for expensive dinners and retreats on company time and dollar. 



LMN has consistently exceeded my expectations since I started here. Management has given me the tools to move up in my position and grow professionally and personally.

The people of LMN are the true backbone of the company. Have there been challenges? Absolutely. But the people I get to work with everyday make this a place I want to be. The willingness to collaborate and problem solve across teams has been something I will always rave about, because here its not a competition, its about providing our clients with the solutions they need. 


Since joining LMN a few short weeks ago- to say I am impressed with the caliber of talent across the organization would be an understatement.

The company really cares about the clients we serve and making a positive impact across the landscape industry as a whole.  There are endless opportunities at the company to make your mark and lift up others around you!  Skies the limit for this incredible company- join the rocket ship.
