I've been working for Landsperg Auto for going on 5 years and honestly cant imagine working anywhere else. You get the benefits of working for a small company, while still making the income of "bigger" dealer groups. I started out here in 2014 as a receptionist, I caught on quickly and worked very hard and moved up the ladder in a short 5 months. I quickly became a controller within 8 months of starting with the group. 
The growth potential is HUGE with this group and with the group rapidly expanding if you work hard you are almost guaranteed to move up.
Being young when I started with the group I can't speak for much experience but I cant say there are a lot of companies that would let you leave to take your dog to the vet. Which to me is a huge deal! The management here makes you feel like you are cared for, and this company has done A LOT for my husband and I and we are extremely grateful to be employeed by people who feel like they care about you. 
If you're considering applying, I warn you, this job is not for people who lack ambition. If hard work (and great pay) scares you, this probably isn't the group for you. BUT if you KNOW your potential, and are excited about making 6 figures, and MOTIVATED to hustle for the life you want, join us.

What is the best part of working at the company?
0 parts, looks at the reviews, every time a bad one comes in, they send a group wide email to have everyone toss on a good one. You will see 1* then four or five 5* from current employees right after. I used to get paid 20$ a google review, it was worth the time making acounts as there wasn't any walk in traffic to deal with.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Dealing management constantly changing the goals and directions, the gm and GSM cone out of a video meeting looking like they wanted to off themselves every Wednesday 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
So bad, so very bad, the turnover was impressive, I didn't think there was that many people in the area that where eligible to work, but alas, the revolving door stayed open for the sales dept. Something like nine gm's since 2017 at the red deer store countless sales managers and sweet tik tok thread about them, that's was a complete lock down from corporate trying to brush it under and away

My employment at Kia Red Deer was an excellent career growth opportunity. I was really able to learn lot more about selling, customer service, and overall advisor skills. My vehicles knowledge and selling skills were tested daily as well as learning new skills advisor. I took more of an active role in the warranty claim process, as well as fully took over the used car reconditioning and subletting work to other shops all on my own. This also helped me to hone computer skills, accounting skills, and dispatching skills as an advisor. I worked many shifts on my own as a key holder, with no active manager on staff with no problem. This role really helped me to learn, take charge, and make better decisions as an advisor, as well as learning better organization and follow-up with customers to ensure satisfaction. Overall my experience at Kia Red Deer helped me to grow in ways suited for any job in the automotive industry, and i am grateful for the opportunity to grow.

Work deadlines are completely up to you, there is no sympathy when it comes to expectations. Work is competitive at all levels, meaning it's you against your colleagues, so if you do really well you are praised as a stand out employee and if you are falling behind there is gossip and you are ostracized. Beyond that it's all about the dollars, decisions are made almost solely on it, which is why they have such a bad reputation in Red Deer. Customers feels it as well as employees, which brings up another point, if you have a conscience when it comes to how customers spend their money you're probably not going to do very well. If you don't mind constant pressure and rigid comparison this place is the one for you. All that being said, this is a place you can make money if you are relentless about it. Work/life balance is almost non existent at Red Deer Mitsubishi, just something to keep in mind when applying.

First off the way they treat employees when it comes to salaries and opportunity for advancement isn't truthful or satisfying. They also deceive their own customers and charge them more than MSRP and with hold information I feel people should be made aware of during a car buying experience. There is high sales person turnover here and for good reason when they all make about minimum wage. It makes it hard for finance to perform to their capabilities. The owner is so cheap that he takes our incentives like airmails from the bank to his own personal account. I recommend you stay away from this place and don't listen to their promises or expected salary, it isn't at all accurate.

Don’t work for this dealer and stay clear of the group.  Some of the most unprofessional, unorganized, uneducated unscrupulous people I have ever had the misfortune of coming into contact with.  Sets the auto industry back decades. Management is responsible as it starts there and trickles down.  Do not waste your time here. There are fantastic opportunities in the business and zero of them are here. Massive Fail. I wish I could say that there was something redeeming. Unfortunately there is nothing. The culture this place has fostered has become part of the fabric of who these people aspire to be. Nothing good. Not a place to have a career in this business. I wouldn’t even say it a place to work until you find something better. Keep looking!!

Will run credit checks on customers without permission, I witnessed this on multiple occasions as a trainee. ABSOLUTELY NO training provided to me yet I was expected to sell cars my first day not having a clue about the procedure, features/ prices of vehicles etc.  The entire list of potential customers to call has been thrown at every new employee since they've been in business, as a result, any customer you call will literally jump down your throat because KIA will not stop harassing them. If you have morals this place definitely isn't for you. If your slimey, play favorites,and don't mind the odd fib to make a sale this place is your perfect match.

Worked here for 2 weeks was let go because I hadn't sold a car. While my male coworker hired same day and hadn't sold a car either got to keep his. Almost 60 hours work weeks with 1 day off, they don't explain the pay structure or expected hours you will work. There is no work life balance or flexible schedule, if they are open you are working. They promise to train you but The training is non existent and they expect you to sell a car with minimal guidance or proper leads that are given to the staff that proved themselves even though you are new to the business. 8 people went through my position in 1 month before me. Don't waste your time or energy 

Good when you first start working but once you get the hang of things they rip you off and take deductions off pay that didn't even happen. They try to cover it up. They do have great training so if yr looking to start somewhere with a bad rep, just to get experience under your belt, this is the place for you. They say there is room for advancement but there really is no room at all unless you know the right people. hardest part of the job is cold calling customers that currently hate you and con them into coming into the store to trade their vehicle in that probably is perfectly fine.

a typical work day would involve setting up our daily goals in the morning and deciding how to go about completing them, basic training with the sales guys and preforming outbound cold calls and emails to create new business. Management is very helpful when is comes to making the sales people successful.

My coworkers and a family base team, everyone is treated with respect as a family is, and if someone needs help we all help out.

The hardest part of my job is finding new ways to create new customers for life through multiple means, such as Facebook, social media, phone calls.
