I enjoyed my time working at Laser Metal Profiles because of the company culture. Anytime I had any questions, the plant manager, my co-works and the supervisors were willing to help. At Laser Metal Profiles, it seems that cross-training is an emphasis and I am grateful to have learned so much during my time there. I was a plasma and oxy operator who then transitioned to a laser operator.  Not to mention, the food trucks and company lunches that the owner provides for the employees is nice team-building opportunity for all of us to get to know one another. 

Unfortunately, I had to move cities or I would have worked at LMP until retirement. 

LMP is a great place to work. I had never worked in an "office" type setting before and found the transition to be very easy. Everyone is super helpful when you have questions. I feel like I am constantly learning new things about the industry. 
As an employee I feel heard and seen when an issue comes up, and it is not swept under the rug. 
They are also very understanding that family comes first, which is super important for me with a younger one at home. 
Small company with a big heart. 
I think my favorite thing is that people are there to work, but also we have a good time with each other and laugh a lot!!

I worked here as a CNC machine operator and had a great experience. From the start, the training was good and it helped me understand the machines quickly. Sadly, I moved on for personal reasons. I would have seen this company as the place where I would have liked to grow my career and continue to work long term. I had a great experience with the owner, HR manager, plant manager and my other colleagues within the workshop.

The workplace was very dirty and unsafe. The company pays dirt-poor wages while exploiting exchange students. The shop was always filled with toxic fumes because the exhaust system was clearly not working properly. Washrooms are filthy and expect to eat your food in the lunch room with dead insects hanging a few centimeters from your mouth. Most of the employees received little to no pay raise in the last 2 years while the company continued to make record profits. For the sake of your mental and physical health, stay away from this place. 

I felt bad for leaving. Everyone here was patient and understanding. I worked as a fitter/welder in a very small welding shop. Although it was small, the small team environment was awesome. Ergonomics are less than ideal, and ventilation could be better in the heat, though. I had to leave due to medical concerns working in the heat, so a rewarding job awaits someone with attention to detail and good heat tolerance during Summer months.

i was hired to operate the plasma/oxy table on day shift. i had plasma experience but very little oxy, which they knew when i was hired. 
learning curve about average, getting feedback was like pulling teeth.
let go after 7 weeks with useless reason, "didn't fit in." nobody ever mentioned any problems with work, attitude, attendance, compliance.

Being that it is a family run business, the company takes care of their employees like they are one of their own. Whether it is top notch benefits or the monthly events (food trucks, pizza lunches, company attire, etc.) Each and every employee is treated fairly. Unfortunately I left because I moved out West but I highly recommend this personable work place. 

PPE is locked up behind a door. The programming is very poor and makes the operators job way harder than it should be. The programmers have 0 experience on an actual Laser. Each job is counted down to the last minute. If you cant work overtime the management makes you feel bad and tries to talk you into it. They are willing to pay more to get you in the door but its not worth it.

I worked here for a while in the office.  Some co-workers were nice and alot of fun, others were rude.  The boss is very rude, calls names, belittled you in front of your co workers etc.  You are paid minimal and they expect you to do work for everyone in the building and the training provided was mediocre.  Overall not a place I would recommend.
