Right from the get-go the uncapped earning potential for income was appealing but I saw extreme value in the self driven advancement. I long had felt undervalued for my skill set and willingness to exceed expectations, been passed over time and time again for promotions.

I was able to grow and develop skills in sales and customer service, interviewing, team building, territory management,pay roll, client management.

Working with a client like Telus has allowed me to represent a brand and product that is top of line in quality and innovation through many avenues of face to face through residential and small business markets.

The opportunity is endless but what has really made me stay over the years is the amazing team we have at Latta Corp. The other managers are supportive and willing to share ideas on innovation and growing the business. They will coach you through your growing pains and set you up with a support network for success. This is a practice that's filtered right down to the newest sales reps. Everyone is welcoming and eager to help you grow. It feels more like a family then an office environment!

Latta Corp is a great opportunity to get world class sales training. Every morning starts with training covering all aspects of the sales cycle. Every day you get to deal with a high volume of potential clients and meet a lot of interesting people while improving your skills. This job is awesome for self development, you will become more confident, more articulate and develop a better understanding of people as a result of doing this job. There is also an opportunity to make a lot of money in a short space of time. If you are performing, doors will open and getting promoted early on is a very realistic possibility. I stayed 9 months and left to pursue a different career path but the skills I learned will stay with me forever and I made some really good friends along the way. The job can be a lot of fun, it's a team environment and everyone gets on really well.. This job is real world experience and I highly recommend it for anyone regardless of age, gender or qualifications.

If you don't mind working from 11:30 am - 10pm, and you are great with door to door sales pitches, and love walking around the great outdoors for hours then this job is for you! There is no hourly wage, so even though you spend two weeks in training at over 40 hours a week, you only receive $200 - and that's IF you finish the training successfully. On top of in class training, there is door to door training, which means you are out in about in all sorts of weather conditions, walking around for hours, and again making no money. There is money to be made, as long as you are great with people and are very good with your door to door sales pitch (which needs to be memorized). The company is great, really it is. You work with a lot of great (very young) people, with positive, go-getter attitudes! They offer a lot of advancement opportunity, travel opportunities, and some pretty great bonuses.

This company is great  . There's lots of help from managers and sales trainers to excel at this job . There's full training to teach sales agents a sales process wich really works and you have allot of support from managers and your team  to get better and better each day .  You  learn allot and develop really amazing skills in sales and I have personally seen allot of success . It's a really a rewarding job there's lots of exciting competitions to win prizes and work togeather in a fun team environment ! I have worked at allot of sales jobs in the past and this is by far the best company I have worked for ! Even if you don't have sales experience the managers are there to help you . As long as you have a positive attitude and if you don't have much sales experience but you are willing to learn anyone can be coached to be successful

The job is a 100% commission door to door sales job. You're expected to make between 40 and 60 sales weekly to have a decent pay check.

The different levels of manager will give you different stories about different policies, which makes it very confusing.

They makes promises of mall shows and trade shows, but don't tell you until training that you need to do a few months going door to door only.

When you're hired, you're told you'll be working monday to friday 12-8. Once you're in training, they inform you that you have to work 2 saturdays a month on top of that, and work 11-9 during those weeks. 

This isn't a job for someone with a family, this a job for a summer student, or someone with no obligations. Don't apply here if you want a work life balance.

As a 6 years professional outbound sales, I started this job with Latta 3 months ago in Calgary. I was amazed by our management team who were putting tremendous effort to help new hires progress in this job in terms of back office support, sales technique education and career advancement.  

If you are new to sales and willing to put efforts to become success, this is a great company to join since they will provide you all the resources and time to help you realize your professional goals. If you are an experienced sales professional, this would a company gives you career advancement once you can show the potential and great financial rewards with a really short learning curve.

It makes me sad to see some of these reviews. I have been employed with Latta Corp for the last three years and am extremely happy with my position and the way I have been treated as an employee. I think what happens is that some individuals who sign up for this position are looking for something where they can kick back and put their feet up and still make the same amount as everyone else; in which case this company is probably not the right fit. These are positions in which your paycheck directly reflects your work ethic, drive and developing skill set, rather than the amount of hours you put in over the course of a day or week. I personally would rather be rewarded for the extra effort I put in.

like many people I was skeptical of joining a sales job. I had doubts, but I tried it out as a favour to a friend. What I learned was that by giving it a chance, putting the time in that within the first month I was competent, and within the first few months I was excelling. The management is phenomenal, they help you through every step. This job teaches you to deal with people, to build relationship, perseverance, and versatility. The team atmosphere is awesome. Everyone is geared to success and well motivated. My life would be completely different had I not joined.

Been working here at Latta for more than a year, the amount of personal growth I have experienced is overwhelming (thanks to the management). Company is growing quickly because the product works extremely well. It is rare to be in sales and have the opportunity to sell a great product. Not to mention the great office, free food, office events and many more perks.

I worked here as a summer student and made way more money here than I could have anywhere else. Great team environment makes going to work everyday fun. The managers actually care about your success and do whatever they can to help you succeed. People that produce results advance throughout the company very quickly as I have seen this first hand. I will definitely be coming back for another summer
