Ill list a few reasons why working here as a Sales/CS rep was a poor experience 
 
First leadership is mostly non existent. There was no sales manager for most of my time there. This means we typically relied on one colleague who had been there the previous year despite the fact that he held the same title as us. That colleague was later let go despite being a great salesperson and help to the rest of team 

Second, pay structure is misleading and isn’t as good as claimed to be. Commission is paid out in small fractions over the course of the year so you would have to stay until the end of the calendar year to get all your commission. The issue with that is nobody ever makes it to the end of the year. They’re either fired or they leave after realizing it isnt what they thought it was 

You’ll be doing a lot more than the job description entails. For example, taking angry cancellation calls and cold calling people for reviews 

Mandatory Saturdays for a portion of the year. The shift is 3.5 hours so if you commute from a distance it isn’t worth it but still mandatory 

Biggest issue is job security. People don’t last very long for various reasons. Ultimately they do not receive the commission they would’ve been owed, it goes back to the company 


I didn't work as a Lawn Tech, so I will only be reviewing work as a Christmas Lighting Installer.

This job involves being outdoors in most weathers, and often many feet up a ladder. If you can get over those downsides, it's a pretty good job.

Anyone with experience in a fast-paced manual-working environment should be able to shine here.

The work itself is very organised, each installation is given a Work Order file, containing maps for wiring and photos of previous installations. Installers are given a series of installs each day, which are typically laid out in a convenient route. As someone who's done driving jobs before, I appreciated the thought.

In order to do this work you will need to wear warm outdoors clothing. Many team members wore multiple layers of pants or snow-pants. Waterproof & insulated boots are essential.  In heavy snow conditions it may be necessary to work in snow up to the knees. 

Working at Lawnsavers has given me a great opportunity to explore myself in and out. 
I’ve learned various skills and techniques while working at this organisation. Whole team, whether it’s my Boss, Managers or technicians, everyone is very friendly and supportive. 
I feel everyday at work is very exciting and we have an amazing opportunity to connect with new customers each day which is a great positive sign. Also, one of the best thing working as a Tech is that  you start your day quite early in the morning. Eventually, your work ends early too. You have enough time in the day to invest in some other things. Pay structure is decent too. 
Lastly, I would say my most enjoyable part while working at Lawnsavers is driving from one house to another. Taking care of Lawns and making a healthy environment for the society.

No words can describe how much I enjoyed working at LawnSavers. They provide the necessary tools and training to succeed at my job as a customer service adviser. What is great about LawnSavers is they actually want you to excel at your job, and help you do it through training, incentives and other motivational tools.

LawnSavers is family run company, and has an amazing dynamic. It was a joy to come to work every day with everyone in a great mood. The company definitely has a positive environment.   You really are a part of team there. The company does many team building activities, and lunches for events. Everyone is always willing to help out anyway they can. If you have any concerns, management is very approachable, and likes to hear feedback.

Working at LawnSavers allowed me to develop and learn new skills that I never thought I could. I highly recommend working at LawnSavers!!!

Working for Lawnsavers has been a great experience.  The pay is good, the hours are what to be expected for being in the Lawn Care industry.  They make you feel like you are making a difference.  Some days are longer than others and sometimes can be more stressful.  But the willingness to help each other goes a long way in making the "bad" days worth it.  I feel with any job you have your good and bad days.  The owner is smart, ambitious and willing to buy whatever is needed to make our jobs easier and safer.  Overall its a good environment to be in, better than some other lawn care companies

What makes you stay here is that our motto of Make em say WOW, really applies throughout the organization.  No company is perfect, but if something needs to be improved around here, we're on it fast.  There is no pretense, its casual but also demanding and hard work.  Lots of fun competitions etc. and tons of autonomy.  
Plus its one of the few companies in this industry that provides a full time career AND Benefits which are important to me and my family.
Comapny practices what they preach by keeping indoor and outdoor employees feeling they are one team altogether!

worked here for a few years now, started with no lawn care experience at all and expected to be overwhelmed. training was thorough and i got conformable enough to go out on my own. found ways to be more efficient with experience and lots of ways that got me extra bonuses (which accounted for roughly 25% of my paychecks). as long as i completed what was required i could have stayed out as long as i wanted to make more money, or come back for a pretty early day.

The company has formed an amazing culture.  Typical work days begin early but can end early depending on the work pace you want to work at.  Management and training are superb as they are always there to help you further your skills to advance your knowledge within the company.  There are many opportunities available and management will help you achieve them if interested.  If you are a person that wants to form a career with a growing company LawnSavers is the place to be.

Extremely friendly staff/co-workers. On my very first day, i felt as if i've been working there for years! Everyone is very helpful and caring and wants you to succeed. There is a dog in the office who is super friendly and would eat your food if given the chance. The job title was a little miss leading - there is a lot of sales going on in the role but you get comfortable with it quickly.

Worked for LawnSavers Plant Health Care Inc. as a seasonal lawn care technician during the summer. Early starts, get to work individually. Lots of hands on learning experiences and opportunities (I now know a lot more than I've ever wished about lawn care). Management and team of employees is great, they all care, are supportive and willing to help. Monthly BBQs and social events to bring together technicians and sales representatives to encourage a team based environment.
