Learning Jungle

I am a current staff member at learning jungle and so far it has been amazing. All of the staff are so kind and willing to help. The managment and supervisor are amazing and always willing to help and jump into program. I’ve worked at other daycares where the managment refused to support in classrooms and it’s not like that here. All of the staff are very welcoming and try hard to Forster the companies philosophy. 

Learning jungle is a company that has multiple locations, this review is for Buttnwood, York. Baby/infant room has great people and atmosphere. It's not overcrowded, kids are respected and their needs are met with love and compassion. My only complaint is the pay. Minimum wage is what they offer, they are no real benefits and days are long. 

good place to work is a  collaborative atmosphere where teamwork is necessary. Planning is done collaboratively and rooms are built with students in mind. Management is a bit skewed and shows favouritism at times.

Very stressful to work at . They only give negative feedback and don’t encourage u with positive feedback. Low pay . Management constantly favors cliques . Your opinion does Count . Very sad place that work at.

Not a bad place to work, staffing is challenging as turn around rate is high. But I feel like this is an issue across the board in childcare right now. Good opportunities for professional development. 

supervisors gossip behind your back, call you names, and are too lazy to help out or do their job. They don’t follow policy and cut corners. The children never have enough food but they always have nice full bowls. 

The work I was doing was very rewarding. However, management and head office was the downfall of it. All the parents of families and children were phenomenal. Very toxic environment.

i oved it when i first started working there. but then things giot weird with the supervisoe and her assosyany. it wasnt a fun enviroment i woujlndt want to back here at any poi nt and timne in life

Great place to work. Staff is nice. Great place to learn. The children are amazing and so are there parents.  Upper management is great until there not. 

Overall it’s one of the better daycares to work at. Pay is low and supervisors have favourites but as long as you stay out of drama, it’s fine.
