I worked as an engineer here for 3 weeks, and quit when I could no longer take it. Communication was awful, consisting of (a) vague orders to do something and then (b) disrespectful, condescending criticism when the task was not done exactly as the manager had in mind. There were two meetings during my tenure there, both consisting of one person dictating to the rest of the group how things were going to go, and the group not saying a word in response either because they were afraid to say anything or they just didn't care. When I quit, I sent the person who hired me - one of the head people there - an email explaining my reasons for doing so, one of which was the utter lack of any kind of orientation, introductions, laying out of expectations (On my first day I was basically plunked down at a desk and told to wait for instructions, which came piecemeal in the manner outlined above) The response I got back from this person was, and I quote "Do you need your hand held? Suck it up and be a man." This was then followed shortly by a very nasty email that I cannot quote on this website. It was surreal... I still can't believe that a person in that position could write something like that - it was like they were a cheesy evil villain in a bad movie- but it was for real.

I have since found out that several colleagues have had similar experiences with this company in the past. These colleagues have gone on to have successful careers with other firms.

Wow, what a terrible place to work. I am glad to be out.

This is the most confusing place I have worked at, you are nothing and nobody there.  Just a big click of backstabbing people that call them self management and will belittle you as soon as they find out you would like to advance and be treated like a peer or coworker. you get paid peanuts and have three positions to cover if they know you need this job to survive.  They will tell you over and over again that things will get better, yeah they did for them as they made sure they got a big raise.  I met some great people there that are still blind to the game that is being played with them.  and hope that they some how will get their blindfolds off and run before their self esteem will be destroyed

And safety is so pathetic it is a wonder to me that nobody has been killed their.

my job as a welder was to manufacture skids for the oilfield production work and wire line equipment, my skills as a welder where of the highest standards required by the  industry, i enjoyed making a world standard product.The people i worked with where all very good.

working at leespecialties gives me more knowledge about the job im doing. I work with the very supportive and talented people.They give me the courage to work by myself,independently,to being creative and to be a good worker and most specially is to be a good being.

We are fast paced with a number of new project on the go at all times. If you are looking for a challenge this is the place to be!

Great people great shop economy may not benefit you at this job, otherwise it’s a great place to find where you wanna go or even stay for a while if you ever have the chance go for it you won’t be disappointed

work load isn't to hard, but some tight deadlines appear around holiday periods. Lots of mangement, with lots of meetings generally co-workers are good, but to much seperation between departments

It was alright if you were on night shift but otherwise it was fine. They fired me for putting a joke on facebook so I guess take that as you feel. There's a couple of people in management that were pretty ok as far as that goes.

as a small-mid sized manufacturing company. technical competencies were highly relying on a few individuals, which may imply somewhat unstable situation.

Good place to work lots of productive challenges to keep you busy. Staff on both assembly floor and management good to deal with and offered solutions to a question.
