Legend had a bad reputation a few years back. Management was pretty terrible, guys were treated badly. A few months ago the new superintendent came in with years of experience brought on a site coordinator and the changes were almost immediate. It became a fun place to work. Attendance was up they made you feel like family.  We felt comfortable going to the superintendent with any questions or worries. 100% supported. They were the hardest working most dedicated two people Legend has had. Genuinely cared for each and every one of us. Unfortunately they brought back one guy that destroyed it all within 2 days. This caused the only good leaders we have had to quit and most of the crew with them. Him and his sidekick will be the downfall of Legend. It's unfortunate because we really thought we had a chance. It's not the same place at all.  

Every company has its ups and downs and we all make the choice to destroy them if they run us the wrong way.  Legend Mining has given me the opportunity to move my career forward in a good and positive way. Something I never had with other companies. Sometimes a larger company isn't always the best approach which is why Legend is and always will be the best place if you want to feel like family 

Any one that has a chance to join legend will be moving there career in the right direction. This is not just a place to work it’s a place you feel like you belong and your part of a bigger picture and the atmosphere is amazing.

Excellent place to work.
I've been here about 6 months and always looking forward to get up in the morning to go to work! Always learning new skills and meating new people. Management is great and always giving us the tools and knowledge  to work safe always! 

Great place to start out and get some experience! Legend is a junior mining contracting company who give chances to people when other contractors who not. They pay fair for the work we do. Great place to learn and grow. Lots of opportunities. 

Everyday was an unknown ..we had to wing it most of the time..
Employees were always disgruntled..and had to multitask..
Not much training available..poor
Equipment or none to work with..

Legend mining is a great company that creates underground job opportunity  in my hometown    I've worked for legend when it first began. I'm told it's a different  company now  and I'd be proud  to sy I'm with   legend mining. 

No one in a position of authority is on the up and up.
Your pay is threatened on a regular basis. 
You are talked down to. 
They will lay you off saying lack of work after hiring 3 new people. 
They will alter your pay for every job site you attend for them.

Decent place to work and get some experience if you've never worked underground before, would not recommend for anyone with experience or who actual wants to mine.
