I am not one who routinely reviews the company for which I work, largely due to the cons outweighing the pros.  All companies readily described themselves as being the best at what they do and boasting of an optimal employee experience. This rarely holds true for most.  Having been with Leger now for several years, I can finally say I am experiencing an optimal employee experience.

I hold a full-time salaried role at Leger. They practice what they preach and met my top 3 non-negotiables in an employer: 1.do they legitimately do what they say they do; 2.do they listen/act/implement; 3.do they care, my experience has been yes to all three.  Here you will find inclusivity, harmony, and value. Staff are all equally important contributors, regardless the position held. Company culture begins with and is fostered by with those who guide and mentor us. Our management teams lead by example and insist upon a respectful and collaborative environment. You can count on knowing them as they are clearly visible, interactive, want to know you, and routinely ask for input.  Leger is a socially responsible employer, continually evolving, and places equal emphasis on the health and wellbeing of those it employs, and profitability. 

If you are a “people first” job seeker, choosing Leger means your choosing happiness, friends, transparency, goals, flexibility, recognition, training, promotions, good compensation, group insurance, pension, profit share (providing attainment of yearly target growth), EAP (Employee Assistance Program), health allowance, vacation, paid personal time, and more.    


They will hire you if you have some decent experience working in call-centers. However, despite Leger being a well-known and recognizable name in terms of call-center work forces, they are incredibly cheap in terms of work advantages and future opportunities. I expected there would be some sort of incentive to maintain the reputation of Léger as a good company to work for, because of it's history in the industry, but nope. Big mistake.

Be warned that in this work place, speaking multiple languages is NOT incentivized. Unlike other call-centers that give some hourly bonus per languages you speak, Leger will instead give you the same flat rate as everyone else but they will give you the projects (such as spoken in English) which are a lot harder, for the same wage of the newbies coming in doing the same taking calls in French for any other project. They will exploit whatever skill you have for next to nothing. You can approach HR like I did about it and they will do nothing.

There are no systems in place for benefiting seniority or any sort of production rate in your salary. You are not encouraged to make actual good work because you will be paid the same when you really don't care about it.

The only solid advantage I could ever say about this company is that I saved a lot of money on public transit since I can work from home but that's like trading 1 dollar for 4 quarters.

They will hire anyone with a pulse. There is no interview. As such, there are a lot of questionable people working there.
The job is fine, if you like being severely underpaid, and being a victim of favoritism. If any of the supervisors decide they don't like you from day one, you're in for a rough time. They'll insult you (loudly) behind your back, deny it when you confront them and management won't do a thing about it.
The only decent thing about this job, is being able to make your own schedule. Shifts are randomly canceled, within hours before your shift.
They'll falsely tell you when you start, that you get a 30 cent raise every 3 months. Sure, you'll get a 30 cent raise after the first 3 months. But don't ever expect to see another raise, even when the minimum wage goes up.
God help you if you're ever sick. The scheduling manager will yell at you.
The supervisors will randomly listen in on your calls and score you on how well you did. Something that one supervisor says to do, another says not to do, and whichever one you get listening in, you could get in trouble, for listening to the other supervisor. The back and forth, the mental abuse, below minimum wage, is not worth it. Not a long term job at all.

I will NEVER work for this company again. You will go months with a majority of your shifts inexplicably cancelled and no sympathy or communication from any managers. Then when you do work, even if you are outperforming every other interviewer, you are relentlessly hounded by supervisors who all tell you something different. You need to say XYZ, actually you don't, we're looking for XYZ people for this survey, actually that quota is filled. There is no standards. Some of the supervisors are barely literate, others are malicious middle management types that spitefully track your every breath. This place is awful. Do not work here. The meager pay is not worth the inconsistency, the disrespect, the lack of communication, the exhaustion, the frustration, any of it. This is a horrible company.

Only cellphone, laptop and earphones needed. Chances to move up within company. Most enjoyable part is working from home in pj's. 

If you are personable and chatty its not the job for you. Pay is too low for what you have to deal with. Managers are friendly but you barely receive a "good job" unless you are excelling over the standards. High pressure and the training did not reflect how respondents would behave. If you are okay with being cursed out by someone you call once a shift then this if the job for you. You must be productive at all times. If not over productivity threshold than you are given verbal and written warnings.

You sit at a desk, with your required headset, wifi, and computer, talking to people all around Canada. You get people who will be understanding and there will be some people who will get upset with you due to them thinking the company is a scam company. The management will message you quite often with quality scores, but it doesn't take a whole lot to score high. The nice thing about the job is that you don't have to commute to work. 

I worked at Leger for about 5 years.  It was a good experience overall, they have a good culture there. Senior Management is transparent in terms of communicating goals, new initiatives  and current progress.  My coworkers were good to work with and I enjoyed logging in each day.  I made some good contacts over the years there and still maintain a few of them.  The CEO/Owner Jean-Marc Leger is approachable and  direct in terms of communication.

I would recommend working there ,  I worked Hybrid .

I wouldn't recommend working at Leger if you value work-life balance. Coworkers and management are nice, but the workload is heavy, tasks are menial, and timelines are tight. Interesting to work here if you like research, but not sustainable in the long run in my opinion. Rarely any breaks or relief in workload. Will squeeze you dry.

eing a remote market researcher allows for a great work-life balance, as you have the ability to set your own schedule and work around your personal and family commitments. Overall, if you have a passion for research and a desire for flexibility and autonomy in your work, being a remote market researcher can be an excellent choice.

Friendly and supportive staff and managers. 
Good work/life balance. 
Staff are kept well informed by President of the direction the company is going and how we are going to get there. 
Benefits are okay. 
Positive culture.
