At L & P the pay as well as the benefits are remarkably high if not unmatchable.  The workweek is quite flexible at only 36 hours a week with Fridays off.  This lack in a full work week is not due to shift work rather to a lull in business, as a result the company is continuously going through massive downsizing.  The overall atmosphere was not overly positive as a lot of people seemed genuinely concerned about the potential of mandatory layoffs.  If you were within the upper echelon up the company you may be safe for those who aren't; keep your gainers crossed.

So far so good too. Except in the HR dept. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
doing some assembly work, easy one too.

I really enjoyed working here. Everyone has an awesome sense of smart humor, they all work independently operating anywhere from one machine to six within an eight hour shift.

i enjoyed the work i did there but i started getting arthritis, and wanted to go back to school so i had to stop working there. i enjoyed being able to work on my own machines and fix them myself.

The salary is not high, the working hours are more standardized without much room for promotion, the benefits are extended or general and the communication with the management is not very smooth and the work efficiency is average.

Make sure you hit your number or be ready to accept consistent job security pressure to preform better. 

If you do hit your number you be lucky to last a 2 months without feeling some sort of carpal tunnel.

the company is really impressive. At work, we get offered free coffee to start the day and everyone respects each others opinion and we share the same interest.

I really enjoyed working here. The management was great, and my bosses were supportive and were great leaders. I liked the work environment and the people were so nice. Coming right out of school, I learned a lot.

Work with a group of many co-workers with various level of experience
Flexibly working in many shifts and got training effectively
Have a basic knowledge and experience in specific jobs

Good Place to work if you wish to gain knowledge and work experience in manufacturing engineering. And Decent  management with good attitude towards everyone employees
