Leggett and Platt is a great job to work at, the people were amazing. It is a fast paced environment with number goals/ targets to reach at the end of the night. I've learned many different work cells with many different target numbers to hit. In order to hit these number I've learned to pace yourself, multi-task and work well under pressure. I was able to reach all my number targets with hard work and determination. The hardest part about working at Leggett and Platt was finding your pace to hit high number goals, it wasn't always easy but I was determined to hit my numbers at the end of the night. The most enjoyable part of the job was working as a team on the assembly lines to reach our targets together. We never failed to hit our numbers and I enjoyed working as a team.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Nothing, they mandate you almost every weekend.
I you are working good they only place you on the machines that are hard, the compensation was not worth the rotational shifts and hard work

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Rotational shifts and the dust in the the building is not good for your health in long term

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The harder you work the harder it gets as they don’t want you rest at all for few seconds as well

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Hard and non welcoming, nothing is provided other than the water

Accountability is absent. Having problems with departments being open enough to solve problems together is another challenge. Some production staff actually care to achieve greatness and are rarely recognized while others have given up and also never held accountable. Production works weekends sometimes unnecessarily at the cost of burning people out. Need to gather focus points further and establish goals that can be met while holding those accountable for missing goal. This applies to more than production team. 

It was a 3-11 job. We were given jobs or machines for 8 hours. They sometimes move you from one machine to another, but you usually stay where you start. The management was nice but the working facility is terribly hot especially in summer time. They have heat breaks which is good, but sometimes it is still not enough time to cool yourself down. I enjoyed learning and experiencing on how things put together and make something more useful.

Salary, nice modern building, no much more

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Working with people with insecurities and no managment present at all  bad leadership

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Accounting dept, toxic not healtly at all

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Lots of manual and repetitive work accounting dept

My co-workers are great, everyone knows what to do, does their best, and helps each other when needed.
My leaders are also great, accessible, helpful, kind, and respectful.
Great place, and I love to be part of it.

Worked there for 25 years there is no place for advancement this is why I am looking for another job because it's a dead-end job doesn't matter how much you prove yourself you're just a number. They will pile as many jobs on you as you will allow the better you are at a job the more they will pile on.

Decent pay, if you plan to stay here for a while. Although dont plan on it as theres always talk about lay offs. Some of the management is pretty nice and lenient while others are rude and micromanage all the time. Worst shift premium for midnights ive ever seen (only 42 cents more then base pay)

The job itself is stressful but the work environment is good. There could be more flexibility in work such as work from home but that is not available. The company still lacks tools for project management and is always on budget cuts.

I would say very steady job, work culture is good but may depends on the group you are working with and your immediate manager. Not a whole lot of room to grow. It's a good company with very friendly people. Management is not the best but ok, everything takes for ever.
