I enjoy working for Leisure world.The management I feel treat me with respect and I feel appreciated.
I've learned how to operate the washers and dryers,I have even been able to solve problems when problems do occure,such as I can sometimes figure out certain codes when the washers are faulty.
I enjoy working with others but I also like to work alone when the job calls for it.
In housekeeping I have around 20 rooms to dust and mop as well as all the bathrooms in the rooms to clean.I also clean the front entry way and the lounge.
The hardest part of the day would be trying to keep the front enty way free of salt and looking good during the winter.The most enjoyable part would be when we go on break and can catch up on each others lives.

•	Participates as a member of the multi-disciplinary team, providing resident information to aid in the development of care plans. 
•	Communicates general progress of residents including sudden changes in health status. 
•	Assists residents with personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and management of incontinence.
•	Provides general care for bedridden residents such as positioning, assisting with elimination, skin care, delivering food, and feeding. 
•	Assists residents in daily exercise program and use of rehabilitative equipment such as wheelchairs, walkers and canes.

I volunteer every Saturdays and Sundays from 5:30 to 7:30 PM.
Basically, we have to be there and help prepare/ organize the area for the elderly's to come and say their prayers. We go get the elderly's down one by one as we finish organizing the area. We sit together for a small amount of time praying. Later, when we finish the prayer we take them back to their dorms (rooms), and we come back and clean the area back to the way we found it. On special occasions, when we bring them down after the prayers, we take them to the room beside the prayer hall and we help serve food and clean after its all done. Organize the area back the way we found it.

A typical day of work  at LeisureWorld was setting up the tables, preparing milk, coffee, tea and juice, serving food to the residents and operating the dishwasher.
     Since this was my first workplace after training I learned a lot about how to be a food service worker.
     The manager was not very helpful but he did his own work properly.
     The co-workers were very helpful and friendly.
      The hardest part about working at LeisureWorld was the salary and management.
     The ,most enjoyable part about working at LeisureWorld was the co-workers.

A typical day at work here was a conversation with the seniors in the building, doing their chores and running errands for the staff. The management was surprisingly friendly and were full of warmhearted people. the hardest part of the job was not getting too caught up in all the commotion that is the seniors' lifestyles and their stories, though at the same time the best part of the job was really getting to interact with everybody, learning every bodies stories and really making very positive and good relationships.

Dealing with multiple employees and different unions you are always learning something new.  Helping people is what we do either on the front line or behind the scenes.  My hardest part of the job is trying make sure that the building has enough staff to help look after our seniors.  The most enjoyable part of my day is when I get out of the office and get to interact with the residents and talk with them.

My typical day at work would be i would get there at Twelve talk to my supervisor, see what she would like me to do that day, go upstairs talk to some of the residence for an hour then go to the floor that my supervisor told me to go to and help some of the staff members that were apart of the activities for the residence. at Three talk to some of the residence again until 3:30. then i would go home. 

great people and absolutely beautiful atmosphere.
a typical day would star off setting out food for the rsidence.
i learned patience and persistance with angry and upset older folks.
the  most enjoyable part of this job would have to be communicating with the  workers and the older folks on a day to day, you always  learn something new.

My day consisted of doing customer service mainly. Since I enjoy doing crafts, this job suited me. They had lots of interesting hobby supplies.  The owner retired and the business is now closed.
