There is steady in town work with a long hours expected to complete the jobs in residential const. on a daily basis and overtime is now banked since the oil crash.In the past they only paid overtime after 88 hours, which is wrong, but they say there is a clause in the residential const. trade where they could do that so any rain days or sick days you loose your overtime.The work is physically demanding depending on what type of job you do there eg. if you are in a slinger truck don't be suprised that you have to deliver the gravel with wheel barrels  to complete weeping tile jobs.
               I use to enjoy working there but it changed now where you are just a number and they don't care about seniority anymore,like the new CEO said,I don't care how long you worked here you are the same as the new guy beside you  and you don't like it leave.

This company is by far the worst company I have ever worked for. You are treated with disrespect the safety is a complete joke. The safety will stand in the yard and yell to hurry up and get out of the yard they don’t care if you have everything you need for the day. The management is a complete joke. They will give you the runaround and lie to you. Raises will never happen unless your there 20 plus years. You will pay a ridiculous price for the benefits which are minimal at most. If you start to ask to many questions they will sit u at home and say there’s no work. I have nothing good to say about this company. Don’t work here worst company ever. They will short you hours and not say anything unless u complain. 

during the duration of my employment with lenbeth weeping tile i met alot of awesome people super friendly staff and supervision, you get to work around lots of heavy machinery its a good place for someone who is interested in getting involved in the construction industry and want to get some experience with working with tandems and tele belts, they have great wages i started at 17.50 as a laborer couldn't ask for much better as the only requirement is to show up and work.

Great company, great owners, almost as though you become apart of the family. Most days are very organized however sometimes you have that one guy whom thinks that he/she should be in an authority position, and takes it upon them selves to use there seniority to have others do all the dirty work/ labour intensive duties while they act like some type of leader, even though they have the same job title as yourself. Equality and positive outcomes could be reached if those standards were kept. Nobody is better then everybody, plain and simple!

They do not pay their guys well enough for the amount of work they do. And if you ask for a raise you'll never get it, and forget about moving up in the company cuz that will never happen also. They do not pay overtime, they bank your hours. the only time you do get your overtime is if and only if you haven't used any of your backed hour for sick day or vacation. and if you do us them you get payed your regular rate not your overtime. you only get overtime if you don't use your banked hours in the span of three months and after that you have to fill out a request from to get. Same goes for stat holidays....

What is the best part of working at the company?
Weekends. If they even allow you to have one

The whole day. It's ran by idiots who don't care how hard or long they push you

Toxic. Controlling. Manipulative. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I honestly wanted to kill myself most days. And I did try a few times as well

Ownership and management that appreciates their employees with a great team environment. Everyone works together to support each other and gets along well. Very much like a family. Year round work. Always willing to teach and train.  The more you're willing to learn, the more room for advancement. Summers are very busy but everyone pitches in to help. Group lunches and celebrations for birthdays and milestones. Company BBQ's & Christmas Parties are always fun.

No job security. High turnover. Very low pay for a lot of work. 
The 1 owner expects you to answer the phone like it’s a gentleman’s club and even the office manager said I had to do this. I guess normal friendly isn’t enough?! There’s about 12 people and 12 desks all in 1 very small room. If you are claustrophobic don’t work here. Expect everyone in your business. There’s no lunch room for the office staff so I ate and worked thru lunch. Technically you get no breaks because of this.

On phone interview they asked me how often do I call in sick and if I had any kids… is it even legal to ask those questions? Terrible management. The owners watch you on the camera and call you to ask what you’re eating or doing…
Do not recommend working in suck toxic place.

Great place to work.  Lots of support from co-workers and management.  Willing to answer all my questions and teach..  Management very supportive and willing to make changes to improve the culture of the entire team.  The work is demanding and fast paced and it's year round work.  No lay offs!!!  Co-workers are fantastic thoroughly enjoy coming to work
