The firm has an amazing team of people who all support and genuinely care for one another and enjoy spending time together. Note that this is a boutique law firm, which translates into fewer "perks" and a leaner approach to resources than at many larger firms, but also affords greater flexibility and opportunity for growth. New management is doing a great job of implementing overdue changes in a variety of areas. In a "sink or swim" environment like this one, those who do best are smart, proactive, resourceful, enthusiastic, and skilled communicators who enjoy taking on a challenge. You'll never be bored at this firm! 

I interviewed at the firm and got to meet almost everyone there. They were not stuffy at all and came across as authentic people who enjoyed working together and having fun as a team.  

My years working here have been excellent. There was definitely a learning curve at the start but that was because they gave me a large amount of responsibility from the outset and they are relatively hands off.  Feedback is forthcoming, but you may have to ask for it.  This is a place for self-driven entrepreneur types who want to learn fast, and build their own practice, while learning from the best in the field. The compensation is also very good and increases quickly once you prove your self and your skills.  Highly recommend.

The work culture and atmosphere is very toxic and stressful and the senior partner is just rude, ungrateful and all around just an unprofessional individual who treats the employees like dirt. They yell, scream and shout at all of the support staff(assistants, associates, law students, etc.) by pretty much verbally insulting them all the time. I eventually left after 1.5 years because of all the daily drama and verbal abuse I witnessed and heard  it was never directed at me, but still effected my work and overall experience at the firm

There has been a change in management since the previous negative reviews which has improved things greatly.

Despite being boutique, workload and salary is consistent with Seven Sister firms. What differentiates LSCS is the amount of responsibility given to junior associates compared to larger firms, which creates exponentially faster professional growth and much more rewarding practice. Organized weekly professional development also helps in that regard. 

Highly collegial atmosphere. Everyone (admin and lawyers) is actively friendly and warm, not like the cold, faux-politeness in other offices. Fast-paced, exciting environment. 

Levitt & Grosman LLP was a very demanding work environment with stringent deadlines and complex litigation matters. I was required to meet stringent deadlines and was often given undertakings on short notice and with minimal direction. I drafted pleadings, corresponded with opposing counsel, met with clients regularly to examine documents, and attended several mediations and hearings .I frequently worked evenings and weekends to ensure that all tasks were completed promptly.

Very stressful place to work, revolving door with respect to staff and lawyers, disorganized, unprofessional, unstable work environment, lack of leadership (effective or otherwise), some of the lawyers have multiple complaints against them and/or Law Society investigations going on at any given time.

This is a very fun workplace full of great people and a real team environment. The firm has changed a lot in the last few months - it now actual management where before there was no one to go to with issues. There are now three female named partners making it a very female-friendly environment and the firm has a lot of diversity. It is a busy workplace, but there is a lot of time for humour and there are regular firm drinks etc. 

Without being shrill and just completely honest PLEASE don’t waste your time and energy at this place. This is one of the WORST employers I have ever had the displeasure of working at and all I can say is that the person above me got it right. Complete “h3ll hole” with a revolving door! Poor pay. Zero values. Zero respect and zero appreciation. Walk away while you can. You’re welcome. 

I had an awful experience. Poor management, totally disorganized, TERRIBLE HR!!!! I felt belittled and not part of the firm culture. I was met with hostility and rudeness.

Terrible work environment. Very toxic and tons of turn over at both the  lawyer and clerk positions.  No real management leadership just yelling and belittling.
