Complete consultative walk around with each customer, with primary focus on reviewing and recommending the recommended services for each vehicle.
Maintains a positive and professional image at all times.
Inspect and replace/replenish vehicle fluid levels, inspect tires and adjust pressures, lubricate moving parts, inspect wiper blades, filters, hoses, belts etc. as per shop inspection process on every vehicle.
Documents all work that has been performed on the repair order in a clear and concise manner.
Ensures that customers' cars are kept clean. Notify shop Supervisor immediately of anything that has happened to change the appearance or condition of any vehicle.
Keep the shop clean & organized at all times, ensuring safe organization and cleanliness procedures are kept. In addition, ensure the shop presents a clean & efficient experience to our customers.
Maintains and is accountable for all dealership-owned tools and manuals by returning them to the proper place and in the same condition as when they were received.

They did a very good job in terms of training.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
A lot of favouritism shown by the sales managers to sales associates. Leads weren't distributed evenly. They would change the pay plan constantly which would only benefit the managers.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
They spoke about promoting from within but I never saw it during my time there.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Training, phone calls, a next up rotation where you'd open doors for customers.

Workplace is full of enthusiastic people with plenty of customer service experience. The workers keep the momentum going making it easier to get by. The management team will supports the employees very well offering free BBQ lunches one a month during the summer. Compensation for expenses is also a huge bonus especially since I work out of town for them too. The team is very reliable and relaxed about every situation when it comes down to getting the job done.

The car business is a tough industry for women to be involved in. I've now worked at 3 dealerships and Lexus of Edmonton is no different than a domestic store in my opinion. The customers expectations are the same no matter if a luxury store or not. I found room for advancement as a woman at Lexus of Edmonton to be more difficult than if you're a man. But again, car biz. Same everywhere.

under old management was great and looked very promosing was told of great opportunities and pay, ended up going back on everything they said once management changed and opportunies were no longer. other than that everything else was good for the most part however employees are very clique orriented enderstandably as being pinned against each other to do better

I appreciate the opportunities that Lexus of Edmonton opened up for me. We were treated very well with incentives for theater, music and sports and we were cross trained so we were all able to help each other. Yearly bonuses and events were also an added benefit for company morale.

If you are not friends with management as a technician you get all low paying jobs. You are set up as a team and the senior technicians hand out the work. The senior technicians cherry pick all the good jobs for them selfs and the service manager is ok with that. Being a flat rate technician you get paid per job you are at  the mercy of these techs

some inconsistencies between stated culture and director of finance department combined with a payplan reduction and more hours and a very long drive on winter roads led me to seek another position.  I have an excellent reference letter from the General Manager and several personal recommendations from other managers there.

-fast pace type work place.again a very well oiled machine , everyone had a job to do and it got done .
fun people to work with .amazing guests i had the pleasure of helping daily .
no hard part of my day at all.

Will keep you hired for 2 and a half months and than will fire you before your probation is up so they don’t have to pay for your benefits and there culture training is not what it truly is
