A typical day at work would be me showing up, getting greeted by almost everyone that had worked there and being shown what work was to be done by the end of the day. The environment at The Liberal was very positive and it was an incredible place. The editor that I assisted along with the other co-workers were always very welcoming and very warm towards me, and whenever I needed help or had an issue technology-wise, they would help instantly.

The hardest part of the job was the amount of work given to me at a time. At one point, for one of newspaper issues, I had to write about 20 briefs, which included my own articles. I was given around a two day time limit for this assignment, and it was very overwhelming because I did not want to fail.

The most enjoyable part of the job was seeing the newspaper issue that included the articles that I had personally written. It showed that my hard work did pay off.

-I began receiving flyers and newspapers only Monday or Tuesday
-I had to put together packages which included one of each flyers in it
-I had to load a cart up and begin to deliver to each street
-I learned and improved on my time management and responsibility skills by self motivating myself to sort and deliver newspapers before the deadline
-Hardest Part: I had to put together up to 66 packages a week, and I would receive roughly 15 different flyers, and the Liberal Newspaper came only on Thursdays so I had to quickly add it to the packages to deliver before 7:00pm.
-Most Enjoyable Part: While delivering, I got to meet many different people within the area that I live in but I also got to work alone when sorting papers which was pretty fun as well.

I wasn’t a big fan of the liberal, there was a lot of steps you had to follow while putting together and delivering the newspapers. You had to put around 100 newspapers together each time and there were around 20 things you had to put in it, in a certain order and into bags. For all that work, I only got $25 a month. I quit

This job was really diffucult which resulted in taking too much time. The pay also was'nt enough for a job that took that much time. The only good thing about this job is you are home and by yourself and no one screaming at you for making mistakes.

The 4 years I worked, I learned to manage the time needed to assemble and deliver the newspaper and to organize them accordingly. It forced me to organize my school work to get it done in advance before my delivery day.

no doubt typical day was before election when we have to attend so many calls one after one, we were tiered but not let the customers know and made them feel comfortable. our supervisor, manager and co-workers were brilliant.

I enjoyed walking outside but folding newspaper during the summer is not very enjoyable and during the winter during ice storms are very hazardous. The pay is not worth all the hard work to deliver all the newspaper.

My day consisted of working at home, packaging newspapers together and then assembling them throughout my neighbourhood. I learned responsibility and dedication during this job.

Walk around the street and deliver news paper. Relaxing but boring. Days sucked when it would rain or snow. Best thing was I was technically my own boss at such a young age.

Working at the liberal was very easy and relaxing, along with co-workers that help to make the job easier it was overall a kind experience working for them.
