What is the best part of working at the company?
The staff is great as is the management

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The Trucks that come in are iverwhelming at times. They all come in at the same time most of the time and there is limited yard space

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Friendly and very welcoming.  Management has an open door policy that makes them very approachable 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
work work work. But you are rewarded for the efforts with lunches. Staff breakfasts cooked by management

One of the worst places to work..unless your a supervisor..equipment is junk..literally. they use tires from the pile of scrap ones and use them on Bobcats and forklifts instead of buying new..nothing  new ..very cheap...workers  are breathing in asbestos  without being told ..alot of the workers who been there long are of the a#$s kissing type and spend the day doing little butt possible while others are overburden with too much.work..pay is just barely a buck more than min wage ..so it's pretty much a dead end dirty job that only thing you will get out if if you stay long enough is cancer

Showing up 5 minutes before the start of your shift will result in disciplinary measures as you are expected to show up at least 15 minutes before. Coworkers constantly "using the washroom" making work a pain due to laziness. Checking your phone to see the time iss strictly forbidden and results in disciplinary action, everything is focused on extreme safety to an excessive point where no work or rational thoughts can happen. Wage was very good to start but quickly dropped as company was not making enough money.

For the most part it's a good job, but for all their talk about how much they care about worker safety, they really don't do anything other than take incident reports. It took far too long to even talk to my coworker about how he needed to pick up slack, and then when he really messes up and puts my life in danger they just try to sweep it under the rug

These guys know how to recycle tires. They had the biggest recycler for 7 years, Constantly improving the place until they sold it.  There have been a bunch of fires, because the process of breaking down rubber using friction creates a lot of thermal energy, but the Brantford facility was put out every time, and producing again within days.

Lots of talk and not a lot of action.  Management picks favourites, safety is a joke. The only good thing about this job is that it is secure. Otherwise you want to beat your head against the wall constantly.  Trust me, you don’t want to work here.

Jobs easy you don't get bugged a lot by management but there constantly changing things up with no remorse to the collection drivers job and management doesn't care about the peons problems
constantly cutting hours and making it hard to plan your daily trip

There is a complete lack of appreciation for their human capital.The amount of cliques, gossip, and general junior high behaviour stems right from the GM and flows through the entire site. Supervisors and crew chiefs are lacking in training so crews are disorganized.

I enjoyed the on the job training and the sense of team work that was fostered at Liberty Tire
 They also have a strong culture of on the job safety and they take safety very seriously. 

Management needs to lead by example and stop making empty promises. Worst Job I've ever had everyone is two faced full. Management is full  broken promises, but  yet they wonder why people don't want to  work there.
