I worked full time with lidl based on contracted hours ,everyday would be different we all played key roles throughout the day given different duties working with a great team made the job a much happier place to work in and enjoy your work,getting to know customers and hearing good feedback on what difference or impact you had made on their day was always rewarding , I was very blessed to have really friendly loyal customers that i had gotten to know ,the hardest part of the job would be trying do deal with an irate customer if they did not understand or agree with the store policies ,usually in circumstances where a customer would be upset i would try myself to calm the situation and offer a solution nine times out of ten they would calm down and the manager would not need to be called .Overall i really enjoyed working here i learned a lot and grew a lot to where i was in a position to till train new employees or train employees on the bakery.

Working with Lidl was fast paced and hard work. There was a lot of manual labor and thinking on your feet. During my time here I progressed quickly and received numerous bonus and salary increase. I didn't have a work life balance which is why I left. The unobtainable productivity goals set out by the company ment working extra hours off the clock to complete tasks, leading to 12 -15 hour days sometimes. I loved my time working with them and I will be open to returning. For anyone who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and get the job done, this is the company for you. I would recommend to a friend. 

What is the best part of working at the company?
Great place to work. I was there and never felt like leaving.

I can't really say because I had a stress free time during my time with lidl

For the work environment I can confidently say it is friendly while their culture is supportive 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
It is always exciting because of the friendly team

Doing deliveries in the morning then something else after lunch gives this job a nice variety and makes the day go by quickly. Negative part was there was no breaks other than a half hour lunch so some days it would be more than 6 hours into a 10 hour day before you can refuel with some food. A quick 10 minute morning break would solve the problem.

Worked here full-time for a year and then switched to part-time for college. 

The money is ok but you work for it. Paid monthly which was a pain.

Can work anywhere from 4 am-11 pm depending on what shift you're doing.

The staff for the most part was nice, management can be hit and miss. 




Job description changes on a weekly basis. Directors and management are unsupportive, dysfunctional and disconnected from the day to day reality of what goes on in their team.  Incredibly high turn over of staff. Not a great place to work! 

A typical day at Lidl would be tough and hard work was needed to accomplish all the goals for that day. However, I enjoyed my time at Lidl. My co-workers were very nice and my manager gave me enough space to do my own thing. There was no negotiation needed, he trusted me in what I was doing.

A multi-cultural working environment where people of different cultural background worked in unison towards the attainment of the goals of the organization. Lidl was a company with a well established working conditions with a good working environment and averagely take home pay.

working with Lidl was a very great experience because it help me learn how to work in group, a typical day as a worker at Lidl goes like : i arrive in the morning put on my uniform which was just a t-shirt then sometimes we have a little staff meeting then we start work.

I have worked with Lidl Ireland for over 1 year and i really enjoyed my time working for the company. My day would usually consist of taking in orders and organising the warehouse upon delivery.
