Lifesaving Society

Typical day at work is us teaching kids how to swim and assisting them. It can be hard to teach the ones who are unwilling to go in the water, but it's dealt with in one way or another. If there's a problem with anyone, we usually refer to the pool in-charge. If there are emergencies, we are usually on stand-by.

Non profit organization with an outstanding reputation. Very supportive of all of their aquatic instructor trainers and national lifeguard trainers. Offers many products for trainers to purchase to continue to deliver excellent courses.

It’s a good job for the summer, with full time hours. It can also transfer into less hours during the school year if you were a good summer fit. 
Good people, lots of tasks to complete but you’ll have fun doing it. 
Basic admin and a little public speaking. 

It was overall a ver good experience, as I learned a lot from my work in Security, fashionist, and general labour , moreover, costumer service. We also had fun outside work where played soccer and basketball.

I worked with many different people ranging from many ages from tods to adults. It was a learning experience for not only my students but for myself by finding what things I am good at and what I can improve on based on my communication and swimming career.

Management micromanage the staff. The Director would bring her personal life to work. It was a tough environment to work in. There was no support from other staff. 

Saving lives and staying healthy! After training, which was rigorous and thorough, you truly appreciate the skills you need to save lives. As a lifegaurd you develop self discipline and situational awareness.

If you truly care about drowning prevention, work for the LSS. 
If you want a fun family environment, work for the LSS. 

Theyll be apart of your life from when you start until long after.

Great time, good people and environment. you will meet a lot of similar people and will connect well with your employees. overall chill environment that is nice to work in.

Got my certificates here for lifeguarding, fairly easy, had no issues and it mostly comes down to your instructor for the course so I can't reallly speak on the business as a whole
