Ever since I have joined Liftow since March 2023, I still feel very welcome here. On the very first day, the HR and director makes you feel at home, there is always a follow up, whether from my immediate supervisor, the recruiting HR and the branch director asking if I am well settled.

Being new to Canada, and having no Canadian experience, Liftow did not hesitate to give me an opportunity to prove myself. 

All the colleagues in the office are very nice people, always giving good advice and best practice.

Coming to my job itself, I need to communicate with users around Canada, helping them with their IT related issues. There is no single time that someone misbehaved with me despite being in critical situation. 

Everyone is very professional - there is always two-way feedbacks where I get the opportunity to share my ideas, and opinions. I keep growing as a professional with the help of my teammates who are found across Canada.

In the past, I have worked for a global company. I have felt so cared about.

You are left on your own to figure out complex tasks while micromanaged on all the simple tasks like logistics and stocking shelves.  Proper ventilation is an after thought.  You will be guilt tripped about asking for holiday time or sick time and then gaslit about it.  In fact they will make a point of asking you to come in while sick to cover the desk and then send out an email scolding you for doing exactly what you were asked when someone brings up a concern about it.  Instead of taking responsibility for a skeleton crew of staff management would rather pass the buck to lower paid employees for working while being sick rather than learn how to do any portion of their jobs to achieve coverage while they actually get better.  

My days are very busy, start my day around 7:30am to make sure techs have everything they need for there days on the road. 
Questions and concerns come at me on a very regular basis, which I enjoy.
The culture has improved drastically since I started here and really enjoy working with the team that we currently have.
There will always be room for improvement at all levels but I know I strive to try and keep our  team informed as communication is key to making a successful team. 

One of the great things about my job is the opportunity to visit different businesses and learn about what they do. Every day is different, and I get to manage my time in a way that works best for me. My boss is an amazing person—very human, down-to-earth, and always supportive.

Like any sales job, the hardest part can be the repetitive follow-ups needed to get what I want, but it’s all part of the process. The most enjoyable aspect is working with a variety of people who each bring something new to the table—I’m always learning from them. Plus, the benefits that Liftow offers make the job even more rewarding!

Everything is adhoc, no planning, no meetings, just react to fires all day long, While there is more or less management, there are no managers within the facility. Previous manager replaced (but still there??) new manager just a mechanic who moved up to fill the void. A lot of politics to say the least due to this. Office manager is just someone who's been there 25 years and doesn't see a need to share information or communicate any relevant daily expectations. The status quo in the Kitchener office is to rob Peter to pay Paul to meet customer expectations, extremely difficult environment to say the least.

Amazing Management, very understanding workplace. Extremely helpful management team when you need help. Very lively workplace and easy to get along with everyone. The hardest part of the job would have to be drumming up business but even then, it can be relatively easy due to having such a qualified brand to sell. However, something I really love about the job is the ability to be able to create your own schedule and figure out how you can utilize your time in the best way possible to continue bringing in business.

Dealing with management and their trainer that criticizes everything you do

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Most of the co workers were good , but if your not in the click with management and some employees your left in the cold

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Working outside, working in fish plants and potato farms

Quiet place to work for and very organized office layout. Very conducive to productive work. The necessary materials and machines needed to carry out task are provided. I enjoy the confidence to do and complete my task without being micromanaged. 
I enjoy the cleanliness of the office and office layout of the entire office. Very safe and pleasant. Employees seem to be happy working here.  
Overall, Liftow is a very good place to work for.
