This company is very good with marketing which is in reality false hope. Wages are very low @ 18.50 with a 2% annual raise. There is a performance incentive per production line which is officially between 0-25% but usually around 8-20% depending on the month. Very repetitive work either on a CNC Machine, Welding, Final Inspection or Assembly of some kind.

Linergy takes advantage of first generation immigrants with minimal english for the low pay and "voluntary" overtime where you come in early 2 hours every weekend then 8 hours on saturday, not because of extra production but because a machine keeps going down due to their LMIA hires in maintenance so they are not reaching production targets which you are penalized for in your performance incentive. 

The work is repetitive, hot and thankless. If you get injured and have a WSIB claim, you are on the chopping block come the next round of permanent lay offs that happen from time to time. If you're facing homelessness then absolutely a job is a job, just don't expect to hang around unless you bend to the upper managements will.

Manufacturing facility that makes automotive parts, mostly.  Various skills required, if you do not have the knowledge, they are willing to train.  Cafeteria and change rooms clean, and the shop is well lite.  Cleanliness in the work area is stressed.  Things are labelled well.  Most of the employees are nice, easy to work with.  Equal opportunity employer.

Females make a lot less money than a male doing the exact same job. Females who have been working there longer than their male coworker will be making $1-$2/hr less while training the male coworker for the job the female is doing. Then the male worker will get another raise. The men can move up into higher position, get promoted, women do not.

Management watching cameras on workers seeing if they are working or doing something wrong.

The management are more concerned about the image of the company than the safety of their employees! not allowed to call 911 will impact company image

Not a bad job, unless you have a life out side, you have to work 6 days a week and cant choose your shifts, rarely get any days off. but it was too too bad, fun sometimes, but I learned a lot there.

Really good to work for great people . I learn a lot from the company to be a great leader with my co works. I would like to get more experience and move up.

friendly atmosphere...Even the supervisors are not that adamant about staying the whole time near to your machine.I really enjoyed working there. I learned most of my basics from there.

I enjoyed working at Linamar and would recommend this company to others. I learned alot about automotive manufacturing. This company treated me fairly good and was paid reasonably well.

the management is really bad, the higher up guys do not respect the guys on the floor, not really organized, shifts are all over the place, poor choices in regards of operations
