Office staff and upper management were great, zero issues. 
Main boss of the company has an ego problem.
Some foremen were super great, easy to work with, happily do what they ask, some were sooo bad I requested to move from site because one individual foreman was a straight up bully.

Wages weren’t great, growth in the company wasn’t great. 
I spent 3-4 months only touching pvc, when I asked if I could spend a week doing water lines to mix it up a little I was denied as that’s first years job. So it’s very monotonous. 

They were very random about where I was sent, but they don’t care about your distance. I quit because I felt the boss was making an example of me, as I had to drive 50 minutes from my house north out of the city and another journey man who lived 10 minutes from that site was required to drive 40 minutes into the city. Both journey men, both capable but we just had to drive further than we needed too when we could have been been within 10-15 minutes of the other sites.  

Great great owner and office staff. Interview by upper management very relaxed. Unfortunately owner do not know how there workers are being treated behind closed doors.

Horrible booths on the ground management. New people come and go like revolving doors. Foremen will push push push. Due to labour shortage. Foremen will constantly look over guys shoulder and yells and scream at guys. Even for things wasn't even done yet. Was there for 2 weeks and decided to walk.  

What is the best part of working at the company?
They'll hire you for the project. Lots of false promises. Talk is cheap

False promises you're given. No loyalty to good employees

Like any other mechanical company but also habe their clicks

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
8-10 hours if plumbing construction

From the first day I started here I felt very welcomed. They are very patient when teaching and lots of hands on experience for apprentices very clear communication throughout the crews and great upper management where it’s very clear to communicate from site to office. I recommend Lionhead as they are a great company to work for and up the standard for plumbing with efficiency and workmanship. 

Do not work for these goofs. Terrible upper management and foremen. Arben is the biggest goof out of all of them. He is constantly hovering over you and likes to brag about stabbing people with screw drivers. They try to get you to work out of town and province with no extra pay. Overall a terrible company to work for and the plumbers of Calgary should know it. 

This was not a good place to work at because of the workplace culture which is very toxic and demeaning. The supervisors treat the employees poorly and don't provide even the basic resources or support that is necessary for employees to do their job. 

Very productive company. Very helpful forman and journeyman helped me learn lots. Owner is very personable, introduced himself first day of work which I have never had at another company as an apprentice. Great wages and over was a great place to work 

They will keep you until your probation is up then fire you. Promotion are not based on merit or skill just on who they are friends with. Not treated fairly when working out of town. Would not recommend to anyone to work here 

They will cut corners. And put your personal safety at risk.  Ie. no harness on roofs.  Or balconies.  
They want to work you to point of slavery. Then not pay proper wages, overtime comes at huge personal cost to your mental and physical health

 It was a very fun place to work. Always had quite a bit of variety in tasks so that was nice, didnt just get stuck on the same thing. All the guys there are super chill, very friendly everyone was super helpful there. Owner is a good man to work for
