A average day here is just about any retail experience including pointless questions from customers you cant help or answer due to lack of information given out people under the manager 


you can learn allot about wines and spirits and the work speed is steady and not to fast 

expect allot of thefts and loss prevention here with strict rules dealing with possible thieves or thefts with poor thought out actions against them expect allot of un happy management when it comes to lost product because of the poor implications of anti theft policies

with so much privileges given to the manager such as CCTV footage , liquor licensees or discounts expect to say "only my manager can do that" to allot of customers 

i enjoyed the non busy work hours as you can expect long periods of time of no hard work and build good relations with co workers

The management is almost non existent as my store had none for the entirety of my employment there, and the district manager is impossible to get a hold of when you do need them. They arent staffed properly (one person on at a time at all times) especially as a liquor store which is a high target area for thieves, I got robbed one night, it got physical and I had and tell him to leave the store. I was alone because you always work alone. No steps were taken to help prevent further incidents.

Working at Liquor Depot is pretty good. Hard to find people who want to work, so its got a large turn over for staff.Managers are good for the most part, but have to remember what it is like to be a regular employee. The thing I hate the most is the constant back stabbing, but the thing I like the most are the customers.You defiantly don't get paid enough.

in loved my job at the liquor store, i go to run the cash register and unload pallets of the orders. they taght me how to do all the closing and opening duties including counting the safe and tills etc. 
my manager i had at the time and i got very close in the time i worked there and she taught me everything she knew about being a good employee and working hard.

Company actively violates their own policies, illegally ignored safety complaints for over 2 years. Pays minimum wage with no advancement opportunities for hourly staff and is grossly mismanaged beyond store level. Get in, use your discounts, and get out..

It is not a bad place to work, but management is always changing. Structure for managers is not there, not one of them does anything the same way. This in turn makes staff frustrated and sometimes lacking in desire to work.

The job was ok, I believe there is always room for improvement as an employee and that if you work hard enough there is rewards in the company. The reason I left was a robbery and a person thing I had happen to me by the manager however she was later fired.

i really enjoyed working there the time that i did, i learned alot of new skills.
the people were great,caring and always happy. i got to build on my communication skills and work on my customer service

Take advantage of people who need the employment. They'll overwork you as much as they can. Fine enough as a temporary thing but make sure to not put in maximum effort for minimum pay.

I had a bad manager that eventually got terminated for the wrong full termination of an employee. the everyday staff was great and I was lucky to be there
