Typical day at work would be to start off making sure you do a pre-count of your float in your till/ making sure your immediate work area is clean and free of any hazards/ meet and greet all customers entering or exiting the store/ putting through any customer transactions/ there might be from time to time to price some items necessary to go out./ to sweep and/or dust your immediate work area/ make sure you have enough bags, till tape etc. Keep up-to-date on any sales and/or managers specials that may be going on in the store that day/ May have to do the odd PA announcement in the store along with your usual use of the PA system to call for assistance when needed. Near end of day you will be responsible for putting away any items that are left at the front of the store (returns etc.) making sure that the pop cooler is filled/ making sure the mats are vacuumed/ everything is tidy and clean/ making sure that the items on the shelves closest to you are tidy and faced./ after closing you make sure your till is balanced, you count out your float for the next day and then you go home.  
 Working in this store taught me how to merchandise properly, how to do displays (wall,window,floor)  and to be more comfortable when doing store PA announcements.
The Assistant manager and a few of the other staff members (ones that have been there longer than most) were Great to get along with...I'll miss them the most...One of the more enjoyable parts of the job was well how it Used to be Run B4 it was bought out...The deals we Used to get in were G8...it gave the customers as well as the staff something to actually get excited about...But not anymore. 

My experience at Liquidation World in Wallaceburg so far is an amazing experience by being taught all the neat things not everyone has the chance to do. Some examples include such as, use of a RF gun, team effort in building end caps or sorting shelving, meeting new people, expressing thoughts on where and how freight shall be stocked, also gaining and improving work and management skills.

Management and my co-workers are polite and great listeners but at times co-workers can get carried away with things which if directed to me or other co-workers I use my skills and abilities to ignore or take care of the situation in a positive way.

The hardest part of my job would be finding something to do when there seems like everything is finished and no other tasks avalible. The most enjoyable part of the job is either interacting with customers or discovering all the new products recently shipped to the store.

A typical day at work for me was a mixture of many things including:

-Sales and Cash register operation 
-Merchandising products to shelves, pricing and tagging items
-Warehouse work, shipping and receiving
-Opening and closing of store including paperwork, cash balancing and nightly bank deposits. 

I learned many things as mentioned in the above list. Management was kind, polite, helpful, considerate, and approachable. The workplace culture was the best I have ever run into having an excellent staff and management team. The hardest part of the job was when we first were hired we comepletely assembled the entire store from the ground up. The most enjoyable part was working at Liquidation World.

A typical day of work is when i sold things because of my customer service experience and skills. I learned hot to work a pallet jack and i learned about selling merchandise and being very consistent. Management was great and we worked well together. My co-workers were very hard working and we supported one another, it's all about teamwork. Hardest part was lifting furniture up and down the stairs. Most enjoyable part was making my customers leave the store with a positive mind and they always came back.

A typical day of work has consisted of being a cashier and restocking and resorting shelves. I learned how to create shelves and windows so as to be aesthetically pleasing to the customer, I also learned how to be a cashier. The management was really good, there was always a manager or assistant manager present and they knew everything about the store and its products. The hardest part of the job would have been managing the checkout lines during the busy seasons. The most enjoyable part of the job were my co-workers. We all really worked well together and never had a problem.

A typical day at Liquidation World was to stock shelves, but mostly be on cash and help customers find what they needed. I learned how to count till, how to stock items properly, etc. The management there was great, they were understanding of my schedule that I had with volunteering at the theatre. The hardest part of the job was probably counting the till, because you can always be off, however it was quite easy to do. The most enjoyable part of the job was dealing with customers that were willing to receive help to find what they were looking for.

LW was a very slow paced, repetative job.  My co-workers were friendly for the most part, as well as the management.  The higher management outside of the warehouse were not very friendly.  The hardest part of the job was pleasing the management as they were constantly changing what they wanted the our staff to do and never seemed to be pleased with the outcome.  I learned how to smile and be nice and pleasant, even to those who were not nice or pleasant to me.  Unfortunately, the most enjoyable part of the day was closing at night time.

Day to day operation of a department store include but not limited to, balancing cash drawers, customer service, inventory control, unloading trucks, delegating, customer concerns,staffing concerns, payroll,executing company directives, schedules, stocking with and without planograms, and buying local product for several store.
I learned to delegate.
The hardest part of the job was Christmas rush.
The most enjoyable part of the job was feeling comfortable in the day to day operations and having good communication with my head office.

LW Stores is a great place to work. I have a great rapport with co-workers as well as the Store Manager. The most enjoyable part of the jod is helping customers with any questions about goods we sell in the store and making sure they are satisfied to have them return. the hardest part of the job would have to be scheduling. When paople call in sick for their shifts it is not always easy to find a replacement on short notice. I learned how to efficiently run the store from a Manager perspective, from staff to shipping and receiving to payroll.

A typical day at work I would go in and ask the manager what needed to be done. This might have been anything from unpacking the merchandise and pricing, to stocking the shelves, to being on cash. I learned a lot of useful skills such as how to merchandise a display and how to make the store look great. The management changed around a lot but overall they were great at what they did. My co-workers were amazing and so friendly and use to make me love going to work. The hardest part of the job was carrying really heavy objects. The most enjoyable part of the job was the people that I worked with.
